I would like to thank everyone who came out today for the Midwest Collegiate Disc Golf Championships. The weather was great (wind picked up a bit in the 2nd round) and even though the team title was kind of put away early, Universtiy of Northern Iowa made up much ground in the afternoon. Individual honors were a bit tighter, with Eric Winkleman pulling away from the crowd on the Gold Course. Here are some results.

This is our 4th annual Collegiate disc golf tournament. College Team disc golf is just in its infancy, and has a totaly different tournament feel when college teams are playing as a team to win a title. If you are a college student in the Midwest, and want to compete for your school in disc golf, all you need to do is find at least two other disc golfers, start practicing, then come to our tournament next year. Two of our past winners have also went on to experience the Collegiate National Tournament.
