Need to start talking this one up..... a chance to play one of the best courses in NC with zephyrs, ultra-stars and superheroes...... too much fun.

We need any old school players to come on out and show us how its done. This is a once a year chance to play more than just catch with super class stuff.

Everyone knows that the Kinston crew always holds a first class event, so lets make sure we support them and show up on Nov. 13.

That's great news about the ratings update.

The player pack will include your choice of a super class disc, while supplies last. We've got some Zephyrs and Super Hero 235s, and some other Ultimate-style discs. This is a really casual, fun event, and we look forward to seeing you there.

Here are the updated SC Ratings thru October 2010: http://www.pdga.com/pdga-documents/super-class-ratings If anyone playing your event has a Super Class rating, it will be used to determine the course ratings rather than their regular PDGA rating (which will be used for everyone else who's a propagator).

That's great. I think all the NC players got their rating at last year's NC SuperClassic, so you should have at least 7 players to work with. Hopefully, this year we'll have a bigger field of players. Thanks for the update!

Are day of registrations accepted? I'm hoping to come but can't commit at the moment.

Absolutely. We will be taking registrations until 9:30, at which time we'll have the mandatory players meeting. I don't think we're at any risk of filling, however, sign in early to get the best choice of discs for your player pack. I hope you can make it. Super Class at Barnet Park is a blast!

Bring a mini you can throw if you have one. We'll have an "off-card" mini bonus hole just for fun. It has to be a plastic mini - none of those machined metal markers. Ace Race minis are ok. Claiming you mark your lie with a Roc won't cut it.

Thanks to everyone who came out to play the NC SuperClassic. I hope you all had a great time. The level of play was great, the weather was perfect and it was a lot of fun for me to run. i had a great time this past weekend. just took my officials test this week so that hopefully i can run a superclass up here at kentwood next year.
