I am running a women's only event this weekend, The Tiara Teardown. It has been on the schedule since March. It has been advertised to have a $500 payout for 1st place open and a new Mach V portable basket for 1st place advanced. Every player is receiving a tourney stamped hoodie in their choice of color (pink, black, blue). Lunch is being catered on Saturday.

With just a few days to go, I have five ladies signed up. I didn't expect to fill the course, but I thought I'd get at least fifteen to maybe thirty players.

I know the organizers of the Chick Flick (only 2 hours away) went to great lengths to get their absolutley amazing turn out. I underestimated the amount of drive it would take to get the women in my local area to play.

I guess I can't just dangle huge payouts out there and expect to draw a crowd.

What does it take?
