What - 2010 Haunt on the Hill glow disc golf event

When - Saturday October 30th. Tee-off will be at 7:00pm. 4:00 we will get together to carve pumpkins and hang out. Possibly grill out, drink beer, etc.

Where - Knob Hill Community Park

Cost - $10 per person $2 optional ace pot ($1 goes to cover the cost of glow bracelets for the baskets) any extra money collected over the cost of the bracelets will be put into the ace pot. If no aces are hit, there will be a throw-off for the ace pot on hole 17.

All players should bring a carved pumpkin and a candle with them to be placed on the baskets. There will be a contest for the best pumpkins and the players will decide the top 3 winners. The top 3 pumpkins will all receive a prize.

You can either carve your pumpkin before Saturday or come out early to Knob Hill around 4:00 and carve the pumpkin at the course.

100% cash payout in all divisions to the top 60% in each division.

We will provide led lights for a small cost. We are trying to get the cost under $2 per light. We will also provide tape for the lights.

More information will be posted as it becomes available.

That is an awesome flyer - I'd be happy to bring a pumpkin to carve and arrive earlier in the evening...but, I have no artistic ability so someone else could do that one up...

How hard is it to cut some circles and maybe a triangle?!?!

lol. Art is in the I of the beholder. You could just hollow out the pumpkin, carry it for a practice round. Then when you get mad just kick a hole in it! Stick a candle in there and its a Jack o lantern.

Lori and I have been getting lots of prizes together for this.

Also, all players who bring a jack-o-lantern will be entered into a raffle for prizes. So please bring a jack-o-lantern with you. Lori and I have 5 to bring. We may bring extras to carve if people need a pumpkin.

Bring BEER!!!!!

Hey Chrissy,

I will bring a pumpkin carved and lots of beer with me. If I can choose a hole, than I choose # 16.

Do you want me to bring anything from Germany as a Prize for your event?

I arrive on October 20th and stay until November 19th.

See you soon!

I have 40 LED lights for purchase that will be sold at the event. I am selling 2 LED lights with the batteries for $5.

Jeremiah, if you have any prizes to bring that would be great.

I have an evil Halloween-themed disc golf towel that I will gladly get out of my possession and donate.

Looks like there's going to be awesome weather...Teresa and I plan on getting there early with our pumpkins to carve and also to play a practice round. Hopefully some people will be there as well!

Thanks to everyone who came out last night to play. We had 63 players show up and play this year. Quite a bit more than the first year when 6 of us came out for the inaugural event. This event is a blast and one of my favorites of the year. I hope that fun was had by all, I hope that everyone won something. 60% of all divisions received cash payouts. Tons of other prizes were given away as well. Can't wait til next year. I will post some scores tomorrow.

Thanks Chris. That very easily could have been the most fun I had a tournament all year.
