Cedar Hill combined with DD....excellence. I wish I could make it, but the Met Center Open is the same weekend:( If you've never seen The Met, it is a must! Par 63 with brutal O.B.
For those of you who can't make it to Dallas, come on down. Otherwise, spend the weekend at Cedar Hill. Jeremy puts on a great event always, and the land is beautiful!

So... working out the babysitter thing right now, but hopefully by weeks end Tiff and I will be signed up. Is she going to have to put a hurting on the rec field again, or are some women actually going to show up. FW1 won't get a chance for there own chainstar will they? :D

I wish we could give a basket to the winner of each division. Problem comes with numbers. It is hard to justify giving a $300+ dollar basket to a division that is only paying in $150 or less.
I have been having some discussion with Bobby Brown at CDSB. We will be having some kind of a pro clinic on Saturday after the last round. On the schedule now, DD Pro players will demonstrate/talk about a particular shot. Then the pros will take a couple of participants and critique/adjust technique. Followed by a short Q&A session. This footage will be featured on future CDSB videos.
I am looking forward to getting to Texas!

I know this event is still a few weeks away, but it looks like it is going to be another DD spectacular! Let's keep this thread up on the first page. Come on DFW disc golfers! Talk it up!

Jeremy is working his rear off (as much as he ever does) at Worlds. I am sure when he gets home, he will have some more info to add to the event.
All I would say, if you are not signed up yet. Go to DynamicDiscs.com and get it done! The players pack alone is going to make this event killer. Add to that Gatorade, lunch, CTP's, mystery prizes on both courses. YOU WILL BE A WINNER JUST BY REGISTERING.
Looking forward to heading south for sure.

935 rated Ams must play Advanced. The rule is <935 are allowed in MA2, or less than 935. Not less than or equal to. According to the Tour Standards, 934 is the highest allowed rating in MA2
http://www.pdga.com/files/documents/TourStandards.pdf
The only way around this is if the player had already signed up for the tournament, then their rating raised above the threshold within so many weeks of the tournament. That could be the case here, I'm not really sure.

I always forget to put the sarcasm smiley next to some posts. Last update was the 22nd, and i'm pretty sure he wasn't signed up before that. There just isn't an easy way to program in a block for people so they can't sign up if they are rated to high.

We don't have a host motel. There are all kinds of motels along the highway and less the 15 miles from the course.
I would say it just kind of depends on what your wallet likes.

Come join the Dynamic Discs Crew at the Lake Lewisville course on Thursday.
DD will be rolling into town around 4pm with plans of running a two simultaneous Lake Lewisville minis starting at 4:30.
All entry fees will be $10/person.
Singles competition featuring 3 divisions (Pro, Amateur, and Novice) will start at 4:30 and ending in time for us to get the campground before they lock the gate.
Pick Your Partner Doubles will also start at 4:30, featuring 2 divisions Pro and Am. Don't worry if you don't have a partner. Chances are there will be one waiting for you at the course.
Pro's receive cash payout and Am's receive merchandise payout.
Dynamic Discs couldnt resist the chance to camp in our favorite campground and chill with our good buddies at the lake.
This event will probably fill up before wednesday....says only 33 more spots open but 4 okies just signed up and 2 or 3 more tomorrow
There is a 947 Rated Intermediate player..nice..lol

THX for representing the underdogs! Congrats!
I wish I could have been in two places at once this weekend. Cedar Hill is easily one of the most scenic courses in Texas, and I bet I would not have shot a 77 the 1st round;)
Props to Andrew Barger as well! Not sure, but that might have been his best turnout ever, meanwhile his twin smoked everyone hear in ATX - Met w/ Robert G. in doubles...must be the stars!
