Sorry for the info coming here so late. It's this weekend, so get signed up at www.titledisc.com!

All Advanced and Recreational divisions will play on Saturday, and all Pro and Intermediate divisions will play on Sunday, so you can play both days and win twice as much.
Schedule

Players' meeting will be at 9:00 am sharp. Tournament HQ is at the small pavilion behind hole 1.

First round will start at 9:30 am and will be from the concrete (long) tee pads, followed by a one hour lunch break.

Second round will be from the Wednesday night (short) tees.

Bring your partner doubles and last minute registration is available on Friday, July 16 from 2:00 - 6:00 at the pavilion behind hole 1.

I forgot to mention I am capping the field at 90 per day (hopefully 72 or less), so if you can't get in on Saturday, you can move up/down and play Sunday. Or you can play both days!

I have 38 for Saturday and 14 for Sunday as of right now.

Also, thanks to David at Quick Stop for his sponsorship! He's bringing us plenty of ice, water, and snacks for the whole weekend! Make sure you stop by his store and tell him thanks.

We're up to 44 Saturday and 19 Sunday.

I would love to see a great Masters and Grandmasters field on Sunday!

Great turn out for the morning sign ups giving Greg a total of 75 players on Saturday. I hope the pros have as good a response this morning. Red, Claydog, and I will be out there to make it happen so Greg can get his golf on. Still the big news of the day was the Funkytown Flyers stepping up and helping to make Veterans Park a little nicer. Enough can't be said. Thanks also to Dave at the Quick Stop for coming through with home made breakfast tacos, bannanas, ice, water, chips, and a whole lot of karma.

P.S.
When I said Red would be there helping, I meant Red Miller not Red Ellis.

how much money did you raise for the VPO?

The exact number was not determined yet when I talked with Greg, but it was over 2K and with the FF donation we can offer some nice recognition on brand new tee signs for sponsors. All n all it was a very good leap towards our goals.

Still need to tally up how much plastic is left, but I was able to make a bank deposit of $4800 the other day, including the Funkytown money. I am waiting on another $2100 from Titledisc.

Obviously, this is not all profit, but things are looking really good for the VPO. Once all is said and done, the total profit for the Fling will probably be around $2500.
