This is a google maps picture of the green area of #5 at Winthrop. Lots of people throw in the water here. Is that what is seen in the picture? I don't know what else it could be but I don't understand how they would be visible. Any suggestions?

i don't think that is it. it is only where discs would commonly land and there are obviously reds, blues, yellows, whites, etc, that a reflecting sun wouldn't create like that.
i've been wondering about this for a couple of weeks now. it HAS to be discs but it CAN'T be discs.

zoom out 2 clicks then scroll down and look at other areas on the lake. Note the areas around the fountains.

i agree. that is where discs would land if someone tried to throw across and got caught up in the fountain.

hey, just don't let the environuts get hold of this. there is already a looming threats because of tree damage. polluting lakes and forests with plastic could be to our detriment.

If I lived near there I'd be out this afternoon with a Golden Retriever to test this out.
