Are you playing?
If so let me know as I was going to have to play the Birdshot event due to not having a ride.
Still haven't seen the new Circle C and don't want to wait any longer!

You need not miss another chance to play CC. By the way...when is the Wilco mini. I'm off for summer and need my fix I can't fulfill during the semester.
Now everyone tease Matt about his 1st round at Waco;) Never mind my 2nd round at Temple, that's just typical, and....I'm not a world champ.
Good job Vinnie! Wish I could make this one, but Momma's comin' to town.

I played yesterday afternoon as the first rain storm was moving in. It hit me on hole 10 and rained steadly throught out the round. All the creek beds are dry with exceptions to some puddles.
The course looked great! All the tee boxes and greens are looking sweet! If you have not played this course before, get ready to be amazed! Nice going waterloo, volunteers, Olse and Houck.
Lou, any thoughts on the 2 meter rule? how about na-na-na-na-..no 2 meter rule =D
LouMoreno
Jun 10 2010, 01:17 AM
Right on. The course does look great and will play nicely once the rain passes through.
I've never had the 2 meter penalty at any event I've run since it became optional. I definitley won't be starting with this tournament. I say you can throw into the trees all you want. It's never helped my game but maybe it'll work for someone else.

You might want to wait on Schliterbahn and the Comal trip. New Braunfels got 11+ inches of rain in 6 hours on Wednesday morning. As of right now, the Comal and Gaudalupe Rivers are closed due to flooding and Schliterbahn took some damage. I would definitely call ahead before you make the drive to New Braunfels.

So it turns out mom is coming next week, the Legend will have to play Open, and Matt Hall still got schooled by Vinnie:) Way to set that super-ego in it's place Mr. Miller!
This course is anyone's game, and I am excited to be a part of it! Hopefully this year I don't meet a beautiful girl Saturday night that keeps me up until 3AM only to find out she has a boyfriend;)
I want revenge TURBO!

The list is almost current now. There were 2 sign ups at league tonight but I haven't gotten the info yet. We're at 35 total.
Also, I somehow left club sponsor Disc Nation off the sponsor list posted earlier. Thanks to Disc Nation again for running the online registration which is now closed. You can still visit them anytime at http://www.discnation.com/.

Congratulations again to all the winners.
Thanks to my absolutely amazing staff of Assistant TD, Brad Granier, Stephanie Allen, Autumn Emr, Matt Kessler, and Handsome Tom Peirce. Also to the rotation of spotters on hole 18 on Saturday and Sunday; Del Stair, Glen Schliecher, Aaron Stair, Rich Mahr, and Ug Allen. It couldn't have gotten done without your help and I really appreciate your efforts.
FYI - Albert Balderas cashed in pro but accepted merchandise in lieu of cash to keep his am status. It'll be on the TD report but I don't want any other TDs to deny him an amateur spot if only the unofficial tournament scores and payout are read.
