why in God's name are you looking for those?

Apr 28 2004, 01:10 AM
tanks are cool they're a less stable rhyno. i can't throw them though, the thumtrac ridge messes with my release.

While this subject is up I was wondering if the Chain Crusher is the same thing as a Tank? My friend has one that looks very similar to the Tanks that I have seen but says Chain Crusher on it. I don't know if it was just a stamp or a different disc.

Check on ebay, they are popping up there once/twice a month!

Apr 28 2004, 09:47 AM
It's what i use......feel the most comfortable with it!
I'm a firm believer that when you first check out a new disc on the market, that feel in your hand is my first test....if it doesn't get past that i don't even give the disc a second look.

Apr 28 2004, 03:39 PM
Haven't tried that disc yet!

Apr 28 2004, 03:43 PM
ive had 2 tanks, they are really nice, if you want I know where they are, one is in the water off hole 7 at riverside park in waverly, the other is in the mississippi river across the river from the old ISU power plant south of Burlingotn Iowa, dont even ask how it got there

DX Gremlin = Ching! Sniper.

The Ching Chain-Crusher is the same thing as a Tank. I used to have one of each and I think the Chain Crusher is supposed to be softer or something like that

They never realy gained value to my knowledge cuz Innova took Ching over years ago and produced the Ryhno. Ive seen the SE Ryhnos go for $45 but Tanks not so much.

You must have missed all the SEs going for $60-$80 in the last few monyhs. $45 is the going price for nice used ones.

Kjell or Rick,
Maybe you can tell me the story of the one in the upper left. It has the same marking, a "T" , but hotstamp says
Ching Powerline ...Putter Approach [USG-0-] Super Stable Chain Crusher
and has the same dome as #119 & #120. The 3 Y2K Special Edition have a very flat top.

All 6 are new.

I don't know much about it other than it's pretty much the same thing as a tank. Could of been a name change, not too sure. Or it could be a limited edition version. I'm not too savy on tanks but that's abou all I ould dig up.

anychance of selling some of those tasty tanks??. Pm me if so sir.

I have started to release part of my collection on ebay. Maybe I'll put up a tank or two next Monday. One of the Y2K and possibly one of the slightly more domed ones.
Depending on the winning bid I may release the others.

This is one of the tanks that I still have. Notice the chalk residue left on the bottom and rim, feels exactly like the SE Rhynos. Old stamp too.
