This event is getting real close. Oh me Oh my~! Don't miss out on playing 2 10,000 ft+ courses for great prizes and $5000.00 added cash.
Iron Hill 10,000ft+ wooded course with very fair fairways. Cement tee pads and Innova DISCatchers.
Carousel Park - Our newest course - It just went in at begining of this past winter. Just put in last of the long pin sleeves on Memorial day Mon and work still being done to get in last 2 Long tees to be played. This course is my first design and build. Its in an equestrian center so there are lots of large grass areas - horse obstacles and white fences, A large Lake with a dam (you get to tee off the dam and a pin is also on the other half of the dam). A smaller pond also comes into play on hole1 and for some folks hole 2. Area is large rolling hills so lots of elevation change on most every hole. There are well placed obstacles in the fields with a mix of a few wooded holes mixed in the middle. As well as a few holes where ditance is a plus.
Pros will be playing a 11,000ft + layout. Other layouts will be varied but with the short layout being over 8,000ft you will get in plenty of golf this weekend. Natural tee pads.
Hope to seeya out

How long is the drive from Pittsburgh?

About 6 hours. I have a place you can stay at 5 minutes from Iron and about 15 minutes from Carousel. Let me know Gotcha! Email or PM me if needed.

These two courses are some of the best on the east coast. With 5K added cash in the pot it's a great opportunity to check out two great courses. One open and evelated, another techincal in the woods.

Hope to see some of you out there!

A few updates. We will be shutting done on-line registration this Friday, because we won't get any of the money coming in after that until after the tournament. I'll be taking checks and cash on the course all next week.

There will be doubles at Carousel Thursday June 17th at 5:30. I will be taking registration money then.

We have the pavilion rented at Iron Hill Friday-Sunday. We will be there all day Friday taking money and checking players in.

There will be doubles Friday June 18th at Iron Hill at 5:30.

The Choice Hotel for the Delaware Disc Golf Challenge is -The Quality Inn University. They are graciously giving us rooms for $54 plus tax a night. They have a swimming pool and I've checked out the rooms and they are just fine. And there is a restaurant right next door. The hotel sits right at the foot of Iron Hill on 896. Exiting I-95 on 896 North the hotel is on immediately on the right.

Phone number is 302-731-3131
When you call just say your playing in the disc golf tournament and you will get the discount. Any problems ask for Gary.
Any questions ? call me my cell is 302-824-4805
Hotel address is; 1120 South College Ave.

I'll be at the hotel definitely Saturday Night and probably Friday night. That is where the party is folks!

P.S. Gary said if anybody stays three nights in a row he will give an even better discount. Something to consider after playing these two courses all weekend.

Thanks so much to Jimi and Mose for running pro side and to Bill Yerd for running am side for this event. Two great and challenging courses played this weekend. I used every disc in my bag between Iron Hill and Carousel. I'm sure everyone is recovering from walking over 41,000 feet this weekend.

Congrats to all the winners
