I’m coming out of retirement and and honored to run a tournament for a great man. Brent Edwards was known and loved by many. The McClellan Classic will become the Kenneth Brent Edwards Memorial. On July 3rd and 4th of 2010 we will all gather at the McClellan course in Norman, OK to honor Kenneth “Brent” Edwards. Added cash, added merchandise and added fun. PDGA C Tier capped at 90 players. ... this tourney was Fun ... thanks for running it , Kyle ... even with the downpours-of-rain , there were plenty of fun-throws to compete with (far too-many throwz in my case , but still Fun) ... Mitch's whole Course area is set-up for technical , short shots ... some really wild little Holes ... I sure will look forward to playing it again ...

... yes indeedy ... a mite damp ... and yet : local old-guy Sonny Lieb shoots a 930-rated round in that ... AND ... tulsa's own Charlie Chung performs to the tune of a 1000-Rated ! ... it was kinda tuff matching those performances ... WOW ... they earned it ...

When Charlie puts all 4 together he is going to be real tough to beat he might need to step up and play with Scotty DJ and that crowd, maybe take a few lessons from the Wise one :D

He played with the Pro masters on Monday night at McClure. He was my motivation that night and I told him so. He had me by 4 at one point and as much as I like Charlie, I couldn't bear the thought of FurDog giving me a rash of zhit for losing to him. So I had to put on game face and buckle down. He didn't make it easy either.;)

I told him after, as soon as it looks like he's going to beat my butt, I'll just have to go down with a knee injury like they do at the World Cup.:cool:

Charlie has gotten much better over the last few months. Don't take him lightly or he'll blow right past you. He won't sneak past you though, you'll hear him coming.:D

you can hear distance on his drives, and he plays even better in bad weather. May be Pro Grand Master by next year at this rate. :cool:
