The same weekend as the Lake Bella Vista Open...:(

Also, the same weekend as the Tye Cunningham Memorial (April 24th and 25th) is the 1st Pitt Open in Pittsburg, KS; a one-day DGM C Tier Tourney on Saturday the 24th (Friday dubs too)...so 100 plus miles to Edmond...or...in the direct opposite direction from TTown...140 miles to Pittsburg...

I didn't put up St Louis because its the Centennial weeked for Ams. Yes St Louis is an A tier but it is also 6 hours away.

Thanks for pumping our events Dave :p ;)

6th Alma Greens, June 26th (1 day B Tier) Alma, Arkansas
15th Hell on the Border, Aug. 21 & 22 (2 day B Tier) Fort Smith, Arkansas
these are around 2 hours from T-Town

not a short distance, around 6 hours - but if you're wanting probably the biggest am payout in the world or a usual top 10 Pro Payout (you'll need to play a SN event) check out the Southern National Pro/Am Championships - Combined, on Labor Day week-end in Memphis, am side may not be PDGA sanctioned, pro side will be

Who cares it's the Southern Nationals with lots of added!
OH by the way this Saturday McClure / Dovillo spring fling is a SN qualifier.:D

what does it take to qualify? shoot the hottest scores for the day? like even beating the pros that are in on it?

here's a link to the official documents for the SN Qualifying:

http://www.sndg.org/snhandbook.html#section2

basically they will release invites to the top point earners, at a certain date registration will become open to anyone with SN points

the key is to pre-reg as soon as possible, the am side rarely fills way early but you never know

by the way you can get points this week-end as Martin noted
I think Duncan was a qualifier? Centennial Cup is also a qualifier

payout/player packs was over $30,000 in merch last year with around 140ish players on the Am side

Pro Side is usually $20,000+ with 144 players

ea. $2 fee stays in the division that it was taken from and paid back to the players in the SN Championship plus other sponsorship that the hosting club makes happen
