This year Sooner Disc Golf has put together the first-ever Sooner Point Series!

The series is made up of three tournaments:
Three-Park Throwdown (April 3rd and 4th)
32nd Annual Norman Pro/Am (May 29th and 30th)
Oklahoma State Championships (August 7th and 8th)

Here's the deal: You play all three tournaments. Your placement in each tournament bears a certain number of points with it. After the last tournament in the series (the State Championships), your points from all three tournaments are added up and you earn your place in the Series!

There is $3,000 (and growing) added to the Series, so bring your best game to each tournament! More details to be announced!

See you there!

Correction: After discussing this with Steve and Jason, we have decided to include the Rev War in the Series. If you miss one tournament of the Series, you are NOT out of the running, you just better hope you do really well in the next three!! Refer to Jason Bieda's DNF at the Three-Park! Lol!

Series point totals (to date) will be available following the Norman Pro/Am

am I right in assuming that since this is a sooner disc golf thing it has nothing to do with the 2010 usdgc spot? last year we played a series of events for that.
