Online sign-up:

http://www.pdgasignup.com/Qstore/Qstore.cgi?CMD=011&PROD=1265802741

If you prefer to snail mail your entry in, you will find the tournament flyer available at the above link for download.

If you played in the Ice Bowl In Paradise 2010 - you will save that $15 at the Fling. As usual you will get lunch and a Chavez Ridge disc with your entry. We will also have some of the first CFR Candy Katanas (special Chavez Ridge hot-stamp honoring Ske's Memorial #18). Some of these will be reserved for division winners as usual, but 30 of them (15 left as of 3/17/10)) will also be available for those who upgrade their DISC membership to Champion Level.

So - come on out to Chavez Ridge in Elysian Park on Saturday, April 10th for another fun one day event!

Sunrise update from Tom;

Hello my friends,

There's still two to three foot of snow all over our course, no bare spots at all. However, we still may be playing disc golf up here as early as April. I need to begin generating some money for rent, insurance and some improvements I want to make before the season begins.

To that end I am beginning to sell season passes and sponsorship for next season.

SEASON PASSES: The cost is still just $20. for the season. Make checks payable to Wrightwood Disc Golf and mail them to Tom Bant at P.O. Box 183, Wrightwood, CA 92397

SPONSORSHIP: The cost to sponsor a hole for the 2010 season is $100. You get two season passes with sponsorship, along with a valuable marketing package. Reply and I will send you the paperwork. Make checks payable to Wrightwood Disc Golf and mail them to Tom Bant at P.O. Box 183, Wrightwood, CA 92397.

This season will be the 10th year of operation (including two at Mt High West) I want to make our tenth anniversary special. What would you like to see more of this year? What sort of events do you want? How can I improve the course?

So let this be a first warning to all of you hoping to play Yucaipa a few more times before it's gone. The baskets will be there at least until the Yucaipa SCDG tournament, and probably some weeks after as well. BUT as soon as we can play up here we'll move the baskets and get things going.

Quick questions:

Are we using the same 4 temp holes as the Ice bowl to make a 21 hole layout?

Are the pins in the positions now that they will be in round 1?

Thanks again to Cliff and the Mad Hadder for their hard work in getting the Fling and Ice Bowl together every year.

Thanks to everyone who made this tournament so much fun. Thanks to Cliff Towne and Dave "The Mad Hadder" for making it such a well run tournament. The first round set up was especially difficult! Thanks for all the volunteers who helped get the course ready as well. Thanks to the ridge itself for letting me play to my potential there for once, I always felt I could play this course like that, just never did it in a tourney. You guys do a great job and we all should recognize such efforts! Thanks again to everyone involved.
