Big rain just came through 35 and 3406, get out there before they lock you out!

Looked bad about an hour before, but rained about 10 minutes and the ground was still dry. Good round with 6 players. Went from 18 tag to 8. Was at even par before hole 10 then went to +4 on that hole. Got the turkey though. V wins again and again and again!

Yesterday at the end of the OSP mini, JD said it would be at Brushy but that was assuming Wilco was closed, which seemed a pretty safe bet as we were being soaked. I called the Wilco rain out #, but man their "status" is as of July 20-something. Ditto for the wilco rain-out page.

Just wanted to apologize to the guys on my card. I've never left during a round even if it was lousy. Couldn't figure out why I felt so bad or wierd until now. It wasn't the yard work and the heat. It was the antibiotics. They always make me feel wierd and I had a dental appt. this afternoon. They make me take a double dose of them before an appointment because of the knee replacement surgery. Something about bacteria in the gums going into the blood stream. I'll be out there tomorrow in the heat again.

I know it's a new concept but might want to run what the membership wants - Just a thought :-) I think 1 of the goals is to get people to attend.

Agreed we should do what the membeship wans to do....now how do we reach ALL the membership......cause the membership that wants to play singles is not showing up to the RR minis because of the doubles format and to my knowledges determining what the membership wants is based on the info received at RR minis.......the cabinet only hear from the same 20 people that show up at the minis....so what about the other 70 or so members, how do we hear their opinion?

Is this all about the Thurs. Wilco Mini? From what I remember it was the Cat Hollow Mini run by JD and was doubles. Just a fun mini. I remember the serious mini was Wed. at Settlers and it would adjust according to teams or whichever singles tourn was coming up. The Thurs. Wilco mini doesn't even pay into the club. It has always just been a fun mini which usually has the best tournout at doubles. If I am interpreting this wrong let me know but this is the thurs. thread. Not trying to stir things up but Wilco has a good tournout when it is doubles. I really like this mini because of the shade(skin cancer), and hopes it keeps going. I hope we don't get club politics into this one.

The disc golf course at Southwest Williamson County Regional Park will be closed from Monday, May 23 through Tuesday, May 31, 2011. The contractors will be trenching and laying electrical line for the new Parks office to be built next to the course. We apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.
