The Sakuna Matata disc golf tournament and Meadowgrass Music Festival are taking place in Colorado Springs over Memorial Day weekend. Registration is online through the PDGA. Awesome, very tight course through the woods. Tournament entry also gets you entry into the bluegrass music festival taking place Saturday and Sunday, $50 value. One of the highest paying C tiers in the country last year. Check the website for more info, http://laser-diva.com/id76.html

May 29 & 30. Two rounds Saturday, one round Sunday. Music festival both afternoons and into the evening. Will do doubles on Friday afternoon and there may be music Friday evening. Yurts to stay in on the property between the disc golf course and the music festival, $30 gets you a bed for Friday and Saturday night. Also get breakfast both days with tournament entry.

Still room in this tournament. Everyone who signs up by Monday 5/24 gets a personalized keychain with your name and pdga number on it. Over $800 in cash sponsorship so far, one of the best paying C Tiers in the country. Breakfast included both days and entry into Meadowgrass Music Festival. Awesome course through the Poderosa Pines. See mhdgc.org or laser-diva.com for details.

Now THAT was fun!
Even though I didn't come through with any really good rounds, I had a blast all weekend. Tough course with all the trees, but free breakfast (and plenty of it) is hard to top. The Green Cards brought the house down Sunday afternoon. We got one of their Cd's and listened to it all the way home.
It was great meeting you Pete and getting to play all 3 rounds in your group was a treat. Nice shooting in that last round!
Thanks Steve and Kathy for everything.
