CTP prizes are rolling in. I think Jackie said Fade is sending a bag. My employer gave six items 2 shirts, 2 padfolios, and 2 really nice metal water bottles. Smokey said he was down with a disc or two.

We are really hoping for a good turn out. This is a great opportunity to warm up for Shule School next month. We have lots of stuff to give away. Come on out and help send some Coastal Bend Ladies to TWC.

hey folks,

I checked with Randon Dillingham of the Round Top Snow Farm. He's the host of Texas State Am Doubles, the Masters Tournament, and PYMWYMI.

He has requested that you change the name of this tournament since it has already been taken by Randon.

It is a long-standing Texas tournament and isn't relinquishing the name of it.

Larry love you man.
Jax is passonate about running a fund raiser for TWC and I am sure the name was an after thought. PYMWYMI has a long history and a long established name(No damage was ment) So a name change woul be the right thing, Jaxs I think you can Edit the Title. Maybe the discusion board readers can help with a name. Make it a good one so you can use it every year.
BUT the bottom line is she is hosting an event in her area to raise awareness to better another event (TWC) and we should support her the best way we can.

Kinda a novel idea;)

I don't think I've ever heard anyone shout out anything but PYMWYMI.

Lot's of folks don't even know what it means!

Jackie, my stuff is hitting the mail today, have fun! We'll be in NO for Pot of GolD

Jackie tried to edit the title on the thread. I attempted to contact a moderator to no avail.(who ended up coming through after all.) edit 3/9/10 1450. I also contacted the "gentleman" at Snow Farm as soon as Billy Nelson pointed out our gaffe on the Third Coast Disc Golf message board. All I can say is.. oops we used a common phrase. FYI there is also a surfing competition with the same name. Thanks for the support for the ladies.

Jose Garza is in for $10 for Terri's entry fee. Step up people. Sponsor a lady. Skip a mini. Don't pack that bowl. Put that six pack back on the shelf. *PUT YOUR MONEY WHERE YOUR MOUTH IS.

*not in conjunction with SNOW FARM or PYMWYMI.

We were dividing up the spoils last night and it looks like so far we have at least 6 CTP packs in hand. We have verbal commitments on several other things as well. We plan on a couple of CTPs per division, even Open.

Just a quick update, the event went great today! ;) At the moment my computer is being stubborn so I am posting from my phone.

There ended up being only two divisions; open and int.

Huerta won the open division, and Hans won int.

Ctps went well. There were 2, open only, ctps on the gold coarse. Toby, won one and the other was won by a 13 year old who parked the hole cause the pro's could not get close enough

Four CTPs on the red course were won by Huerta, Gabe, King Rat, and me. I won my own stuff back so I gave it away. 13 yearold Dakota won most fun. Got a bunch of cool stuff. Tammy won a bag donated by Fade. Mando Marroquin won the long drive with a measured throw of 422'. We had a bunch of stuff given away in ring of fire, of which I won two. That in itself is hard to fathom. We will be doing this again next year with more time to prepare and better dates.

Looking for an artist to help design a disc for next year. (Calling Geoff or Mando or Gabe)) Jackie has decided to use a different name next year.
