Holes 2-9 have been moved accross the street due to flooding. The back nine is still rocking. The City of Orangeburg will be moving the signs over soon. Hole #10 has a sweet lake in front of it now, also behind #18 basket. This lake will play as OB. On #10 there will be a drop zone for OB shots.

I have posted the current pre-reg list. http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=10254#Open

Don't miss out on this cheap one day C tier and SCDGO points event.

Good work.

I hope lots of disc golfers from in and near S.C. take advantage of this opportunity. It's been a couple of years since Orangeburg had a big tournament but it's a great place to play, and a great time of year to be playing. Kudos to the Charlestonians for making it happen.

It's also an opportunity to pair with Sayde's (on that Saturday) to play two 1-day events and make a weekend of it.

(Alas, we'll be working at Stoney Hill that weekend and unable to come, but a resurgence in tournament play at Edisto would give us more chances in the future).

Forecast is for fabulous weather this weekend. That should translate into a hefty last-minute registration. Can't wait to hear how the course re-design plays.

This tournament has trended in it's recent years to pull 20 or so players. I hope it pulls a big crowd this year. For people who don't play it and haven't don't know what they're missing...What an AWESOME course! I hope 1 day the original lay out will be played again b/c the front 9 were sick!

I'm sure it will draw many more players this year. Jonas & Company know how to run tournaments. And unlike previous years, it's not scheduled against Seneca/Toccoa or regional events. Splitting a weekend with Sayde's worked well for us at Stoney Hill last year, should be a good fit for Orangeburg as well.

Thanks for the props. Thank you to the Charlotte crew.

There are still spots available and I hope to see everyone bright and early tomorrow.

Orangeburg!
