The Olympics for DiscGolf, with all the ice bowls and the Dutch Winter Tour since 1983 and a lot of other input, for sure,2010 didn't get it in the picture. 2014 can be another story.
step one info about the 2014 venue
step two 42 people to organize it in 2010 and 2011.
step three evaluate this on the 15th of dec 2011 ( or earlier if there is a 'lifeline' to fill-in a form(s*) to be on a line)
step four which is for step two; the other disciplines. I can see accuracy as a shoe-in, air-brushing freesyle (ABF) until UPA gets back under the umbrella of the WFDF. For that matter we have to qualify the sport as Winter Olympic Disc Golf (WODG).

I disagree. If he wants to "see" disc sports in the Olympics, not only should he go nuts on the pipe, but also he'll need to ingest something a LOT stronger. (I recommend N,N-dimethyltryptamine.)

Step 1 -
Read the standards for olympics. You must have 25 nations govern the sport.

for the why winter?... it will fun to bring in Paul Kenny, an awesome jammer as his buddy and friend Joe will, together, can expalin how winter flying discs in Holland can work. The short of is it, baseball players need to do something in the winter, especally if you chew, most of everything here is indoors. ( have chown:) or is it 'has chewed', no more though, we have a great W.O. Dentist! in mind. )
Indoor Ultimate will work, too. A spin-off is also these two flying disc 'disciplines' can get back under the umprella of the wfdf.org as this is no small task. Goaltimate in the winter can be awesome, although tough to get the posts in the ground.
This small 'LI' ( learning organization) is a good start, 35 more players, kaddies ( have to shage the PDGA rules, 'caddy' is too much 'ball golf' ) and people in the gallery ( with their valid gallery passes. I've seen some good candidates on the LinkedIn and float the idea, there.
For medicine, rules, sport and experience is Barack's expertise, perhaps Stork can update the flying disc program the previous president(s) had endorsed. Indeed it was a dent on the program for the summer olympics when the field was used for the National Native American Museum, which I'm glad, as there are many places although the logical places are either in Georgia and in Bilthoven, NL where the first winter disc golf event in 1983 ( or Joe's in Maarssen, NL the winter before).
Have to get off, tomorrow at 9:00 to travel to IJsselstein for the 3rd Sunday morning flying disc(s) in the center of the city on the 'Het Podium" DG Parcours. 21st feb 2010, a great day to celebrate a birthday, too. PDGA'ers bithday can be a 'Winter Olympics Birthday Day' a WOBD

DDC field, although I don't see DDC in the winter olympics. However air-brushing is a shoo-in:) or not?
I try to be on Friday afternoons @ 15:45 the fence in the picture is next to the new track&field.

perhaps 2014 is not feasable, I can see though, the 25 countries playing with flying disc(s) in the winter in 2018 !
More even, we can play indoors, too!
Will Korea get the nod ( we hear in July 2011)
This 'gallery pass' for the Winter Olympics in 2018 ( and the double one for the 5th of Feb in Almere, ( not far from Amsterdam and on the beach! ) is an idea.
To make the experience out of this and other idea's, please eep the postcards coming with encouragement ( with stamps! ones with a message) ....
