There are no finals or skins scheduled Saturday, however a long distance drive contest will follow the single round Saturday morning. Friday should be warm and beautiful. We will just see about Saturday. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the sponsors and volunteers who came together to make this a great event...Tournament Directors and Officials R.B. Garza and Chris Zagone, Event Staff: Brent Compton, Eddie Daigle and Jason Sisk (Boy Scout Representative). And a special thanks goes out to the hard work and dedication of the few die hard golfers who helped restore our beautiful park before and after the flooding. So again special thanks to Jason Asby, Jeff Tiepleman, Sandman, Froeman and others! All these guys have spent hours at the park getting the courses ready.

Yes we are a dual sanctioned event this year! And we are hoping the fact that being a Southern Nationals qualifier, we will draw a larger number this year. I hope everyone makes is here for this one. The course looks great and we will be out there the rest of this week getting things ready.
