Well, i just signed up for So. Cal. Disc Golf Association 2009 membership. I hope that equates to a 2010 membership as i signed up online and the only option was for a 2009 membership. Today is Jan. 19, 2010 and the application seemed to be from last year or misdated possibly. Looking forward to the So Cal disc golf season starting this weekend at the Icebowl in Elysian Park. Good luck to all members and encourage your disc golf buddies to support the cause by signing them up as members of S.C.D.G.A. the best tourneys and fun around.
Peace, Floyd

All memberships received after the So Cal Championships are for 2010.
We have two new webmasters this year. They are working to get everything updated for 2010.

Was taking a look at the 2010 schedule of tourneys and noticed.........
Emerald Isle is no longer listed as an event. It was 3/20. Is it not happening now?
Also Summertime Open is listed 6-4/6-6. Is it going to be a 3-day event this year?
Peace, Floyd

I just signed up too. I ended up mailing my form in though, because I was unsure about the 2009 status. My first tournament will be at El Dorado at the end of Feb. I'm looking forward to an exciting year full of disc golf experience.

Emerald Isle has been canceled.
Summertime organizers set the dates for a three day event. I am not sure if that is still their plan.

Thanks for the info Dave and Suzette. Bummer about Emerald Isle, i have enjoyed that tournament every year except one i didnt play. Memories of sharing last card in Open with Tim couple years ago and we had a blast. Forgot that i was even playing in a tourney because he made it too much fun! See y'all at a different one i guess.
Peace, Floyd
