woo duff, you trying to act like hiney now??? boy you strike fear in every sober golfer out there! lol The guy wins one tournament with no one entered in it and suddenly he thinks hes somebody! Hopefully I will play this one.
You coming down to harrah in a couple of weeks? You might have a chance, I think even you have enough arm to reach all the baskets. Oh wait there are only two divisions and you would not be the only one in your division....just stay in tulsa.. lol

And this year it looks like the players will be selecting their own plastic for their players packs! There is a pretty big selection of CFR and TFR discs for the players to choose from, so it should be pretty cool!
Also, I've heard a rumor that Miller (as in Coors) will be donating some signed OU Sooners football memorabilia to be raffled off, as well as plenty of other goodies!
There will be $1000 added cash for the pros, and some pretty sick raffle items for the golfer who has everything already!
See you there!

Just the fact that if anyone else would have signed up you wouldnt have it...you would probably be spouting off about how you won the girls jr under 8 title if someone else would have entered... lol you might have been able to win that one instead of the one you bought...but maybe you did win it in a poker game or something like that...lol

Yes the second post is correct for entry fees, there is $1000 added cash and all the prizes to be raffled. It's looking like at least 4 kegs for the party that we have. And again this will be the first in point series that Norman will be doing with huge payout at the end but I will post the complete details soon.

Swag update: Budweiser has graciously donated a VRocker (wireless gaming chair), a mini-fridge, a basket, and a 19" LCD TV in addition to their other merch donations (coozies, towels, and 3 kegs for the afterparty). These larger items will be raffled off at the tournament. Also, Miller has donated a football signed by Bob Stoops and a nice photo of the OU stadium signed by Barry Switzer along with other merch donations (hats, coozies, and several flats of beer for the pre-tournament work crew).
For the players packs there will be both Innova and Discraft to choose from.
From Innova there will be some Champion Katanas, Star Classic Rocs, Star XDs, KC Pro Aviars and Rocs, Rubber/Wood Aviars and Rocs, Champion TLs, Star Echo Bosses, and more!
From Discraft there will be some Cryztal Buzzes, Cryztal Stalkers, the new Soft Focus, and (of course) the Nuke!
This is one tournament you definitely don't want to miss!!

Yeah, Lars and I discussed the situation before either event was confirmed. There really wasn't another option for me. He may have been able to move his to another time, but it was more convenient for him to do it Easter weekend. As a business-person, I understand and there is no enmity. Besides, we are throwing two totally different tournaments. His is sanctioned, which is cool in a button-down kind of way. Mine is fun, as dg should be! Lol! The point of the Three-Park is to bring back the old-school tournaments, where it's more about getting the community together and having a good time, while playing a bit of golf. That's why we throw the rockin' afterparty and give away sooooo much cool stuff. Everyone has opportunities to mingle with golfers they don't normally get to talk to, and old friends get a chance to catch up. That's what it's about, you know? Fun!

and thats all-true also them Norman organizers and shakers had those plans worked-up a-ways-back also theyre always good about visiting into the Tulsa thread and keepin us informed Flyers and spreading-word-of-mouth keeps all area Players aware of gatherings and goings-on thats all cool good choices for organized-play

Lars contacted me on November 19th to have tournaments in OKC / Norman on those dates. I replied to him then that we have a request / non sanctioned event that is 2nd annual status. I suggested he find a different date. After visiting the Stillwater Classic he worked a deal out to move the events to Tulsa but wanted the same date. IMO The 3 park should get full rights to the weekend, but if we play by the rules the weekend has to be shared if the persons holding the sanctioned event have a host and want that day. The differences in the 2 events are sanctioned and non sanctioned. Even if they both were sanctioned it still falls outside of the PDGA mile rules. There are many states that have up to 3 events per weekend and at our rate of growth we are not many years from it.
It comes down to the PLAYER... is sanctioning that important to you. The player must look at the events and decide which one is best for them, what is the best value for their dollar.
As Marie said it's about what you want out of an event. And most importantly it's about FUN!!!

Really exciting news!! Mr. Goodcents is going to be catering the afterparty with some of their most popular (and, I have to say, amazingly delicious!) subs!! Brad Workman (who won 3rd at last year's Three-park!) hooked it up!! Thanks a lot, Brad and Mr. Goodcents, for helping to make this party even cooler than last year's!!!
