Get ready for the biggest disc golf event Charlotte has seen in some time! Introducing the Inaugural Charlotte Amateur Championships.

This event is the evolution of the Points Bonanza. It'll be a Pointsapalooza! Up to 432 Amateurs and Juniors will battle on Charlotte's fabled courses for fun, challenge, and perhaps a title!

This event will be a PDGA A Tier Event.
Registration is $50. Registration opens January 4th, 2010.
Register early to guarantee a spot in this inaugural event.

Each division will play 4 rounds on 4 different Charlotte area courses including:
Renaissance Black - Par 61
Hornets Nest - Par 58
Nevin Park (New in 2010) - Par 66
Kilborne Park - Par 56
Elon Park E-Long (New in 2010) - Par 66
Elon Park Original (Long Pads) - Par 54
Sugaw Creek Park - Par 54
Reedy Creek Park - Par 55

Charlotte is the home of the 2012 Pro/AM Worlds. Come play some of the same courses you will be playing in 2012.

frankly, I don't mind fivesomes... but they usually hate me.... as I walk past the tee after player 4 throws for like, 60% of the tournament.

When you never play fivesomes, it can definitely derail your routine.

Max, it is the shorts. Not sure how long it's been since you last played renny, but the two mud pits (#11 and #12) are no longer played, as well as #7. They now are shorter basket placements on the golds #'s 11-13 (top holes/cedar hell).
