Second Annual Palm Desert Turkey Shoot Disc Golf Tournament
Disc Golf is back at the District with a shot gun start tournament. Eighteen holes of challenging disc golf will put your skills to the test and put a smile on your face. The tournament committee will create the foursomes; you just come out and play. A trophy goes to the winner of the Turkey Shoot and a free disc is given to every entry in the tournament. There will be prizes for the longest drive and closest to pin. Space is limited in this one-day event.
Date: Saturday, November 21, 2009
Time: Check in 8am-9am, player meeting at 9am
Cost: $25 (includes custom disc and marker)
Ages: All ages
Location: The First tee (Golf Center) of Palm Desert
Registration to be taken onsite day of the event.

The First Annual La Quinta Turkey Shoot Disc Golf Tournament
Grab your discs and join us for some high flying action. The City of La Quinta and Helix Disc Golf have teamed up to host this event, which will include a fun 18 hole round of Disc Golf, with prizes for the winners. We will have a CTP (closet to the pin) prizes and a Ring of Fire putt contest!
Date: Sunday, November 22, 2009
Time: Check in 9am-10am, players meeting 10am
Cost: FREE!
Ages: All ages
Location: Civic Center Campus
Registration to be taken onsite day of the event.
Each player will receive a custom stamped tournament disc.

Here is a link to the course maps for both events. We just picked up the Discs for the event - San Marino Roc's for Palm Desert Event & Aviar's for the FREE La Quinta Event. Thank you John for the course maps, I brought up my backup plastic just in case for some of those over the water shots. Looking forward to playing both courses in perfect weather. I'll be out there early Saturday morning to stay for the weekend and play both events.
