Comments

At Steve Dufrane's request, the 2 meter rule is in effect. The Warden has no mercy on our souls!
Steve's Dad designed the scorecards and came up with a name for each hole that has the Penitentiary lingo. Wait till you see these scorecards (http://www.houstonbirdshot.com/tourneys/2009/2009BCSF_SDGP/ShawshankScorecardCourseMap.pdf). They have a course map on the back and are like a tournament program with all kinds of pertinent info (http://www.houstonbirdshot.com/tourneys/2009/2009BCSF_SDGP/ShawshankInfo.pdf). This family rocks!

Pushing everything up half an hour, though....last year a couple of cards were finishing in the dark. That means get up early, peoples....registration will stop at 8:00....I repeat 8:00!!!....and we'll try to have the players meeting at 8:30 & get everybody started by 9:00. Of course, if you pre-register you won't have to worry about getting turned away (that's a long drive to get turned away!)...you can come early anyway to check-in & grab a plate of biscuits & gravy! This is a fun but challenging course...if you've never played it before you're in for a treat! It's less than two weeks away now, so get registered early (save that $5 day-of fee!) and come on out for the 2009 Birdshot Championship Series Finale!!!

sounds about right. Thing is there's no easy way to get to Huntsville from Round Rock.

you could take all the back roads, but with all the lights and small towns, you'd almost be better off taking 71 to 10 to 45 with no stops.

79N to Hearn, Hwy 6 south to Aggieland where you take 30(190)E to Hunstville. Took me 3.5 hours from my house which is another 45min past Huntsville. So I'd say 3 is about right with normal time.

Sounds better than the 5 hours google says it would take going thru Houston.

I tried talking Nate Blair into coming yesterday to play MP0, but I'm not sure if he's going to make it. Any luck on your end Matt?

No luck. I will show anyway but if there is only 3 in our division I probably will just watch instead.
