Brash and misunderstood, like him or not, J.A. is still one of the hottest golfers on the planet.
Ya, I've heard him drop a few F-bombs in major events, but I've also seen Barry throw a tantrum, Feldberg "go off", Cam explode, Ron R. have a few choice words, and even Kenny throw his hat this year at USDGC. None of them are any worse than Tiger.
Congrats, Josh. Your hard work and preparation have paid good dividends.

That only took 5 minutes to move.
I put it in the "Ratings" thread since it was about the "#1-rated player" in the pdga. My bad.

Generally speaking people who are the best in the world at something run VERY hot and that is what dirves them to be great. To your point about Tiger, they have the Tiger delay when covering him so they can dump all his F bombs ... & trust he uses it a lot.

Tiger does it.
Is that supposed to make it OK?

I'm not a moral authority for anyone except myself so I can't answer that one. I was just furthering the previous poster's idea about a player that burns hot.
Personally I could care less if players drop f bombs. It's a fact of life that people use the F word in all settings. I just take it for what it is, an expression of anger or frustration.

I've heard rumor that J.A. will be featured in the next pdga mag regarding his near-perfect 3rd round at usdgc.

well i hate when guys come to my local course in neighbor hood and scream obscenities when throwing bad drives. neighbors hate it and it looks bad on us discgolfers. i know tons of "gentleman ballgolfers" do it. but doesnt make it right. men should respect our sport and our courses. especially if ya'll are talkin about in tournys...thats just un called for. "if you can control your disc you should be able to control your mouth.." wise Chinese proverb....
