I heard that a player had to make it to round 5 in the pepper eating contest to qualify for ca$h in the disc golf event, so I imagine quite a few folks.

With all this rain on the east coast, how is the course/bridges/creek situation?

It also sucks that with the possible wet weekend it will also be cold enough to snow overnights and the Weather Channel only shows highs near 50, while during the A-Tier 2 hours from my home at the best course in Georgia it will be sunny and in the upper 60's :(

I hate cold wet weather golf!

But I'll still be there in 2 days for the best course in the country!!!

it actually sleeted here for about 10 minutes yesterday. creek is super low so should not be a problem even with rain. bridges are fine. some tees may get sloppy should be the worst of it. forecast actually looks a little better today than it did yesterday.

at least there is a nice heated community center and a hot meal at the end of the day saturday.

Played a round in the rain this afternoon....course looks good with the weather really not making a big difference in the course(other than cold wet hands and discs).

results are up- scores, ratings, order of players, etc are correct but something is screwy with the places the system is awarding each player.

fixed that- i had left the finals set at 54 rather than 32.

1002 golf for last cash in mpo.

weidle aces 13- first ace on that hole, 7th on the course.

weidle shoots ladies course record 64 the first round.

ben bartlett wins poker, craiger wins home brew by default (porter was yummy though), vegan ray wins pepper eating in another epic battle with ben.

For the record, HHO 2009 was the first and only PDGA sanctioned event I've ever DNF.......and that's going all the way back to 1992! I decided to drop out midway through the second round due to an existing knee injury. I injured my right knee in West Virginia the prior month so I took a lot of time off hoping it would heal before the HHO. I even played a practice round at Knob Hill and experienced no pain. Them Spotsy hills showed no mercy, however. :p
