... ? ... same weekend as Red-Dirt Dubs ... ? ...
I don't know about Red Dirt Dubs, dates were checked with Joe to not conflict with anything, if it is the same weekend - they are like 4 hours of driving apart and could likely both be successful in turn-out even on the same day
and yes this is a PDGA Sanctioned C Tier and a 2010 Southern National Championships Qualifier - there will be a nice FREE players pack for both ams and pros.........ya'll know how we do it over here :D
a heads up about the the 2010 SN Championships, which this is a qualifier for.....
Both Am & Pro SN Championships will be combined in Memphis on Labor Day Week-End of 2010, 2009 saw an Am payout of over $30,000 and Pro payout of $20,000, you must at least have SN points between June 1, 2009 & May 31 of 2010 to attend (the more the better - this one could fill...probably cap around 288)

I just talked to Chris and since he said that he wouldn't make me start from the tee pad farthest from headquarters, I'm going to go to Arkansas to give disc golf lessons this weekend. I have room for two more pupils if anyone is interested...

Simply play in their events. With each event you receive points. You receive more points for the number of people you place ahead of but you have to have one point to get in, if they have spots left.

.1 The Southern National Disc Golf Tournament Series is a calendar year long beginning June 1 thru May 31. Players competing in SNDG sanctioned qualifier tournaments earn points towards qualifying to compete in the SNDG Pro Disc Golf Championship and/or the SNDG Amateur Disc Golf Championship.
2.2 Player's points awarded in a SNDG Qualifier Tournament are recorded in the division the player is registered for per Section 1.6.
2.3 A player competing in a sanctioned SNDG Qualifier tournament is awarded 2 (two) points. A player retains the 2 (two) points in the event of a "did Not Finish" (DNF).
2.4 A player is awarded an additional 1 (one) point for each player passed in his/her registered division at the end of the tournament.
2.5 A player's cumulative points earned in either the Pro (Section 1.3) or Amateur (Section 1.4) Division determines his/her qualification to compete in the Amateur and/or Pro Championship.
2.6 An invitation to compete in the SNDG Pro Disc Golf Championship may be included in the SNDG Amateur Disc Golf Championship prize packages.
2.7 An Amateur player may earn Pro points and qualify to compete in the SNDG Pro Disc Golf Championship per Section 1.5.

Thanks for coming everyone!!
...and thanks to the WAFDA for a well run tourney at a very nice park with a brand spanking new DGC.
The WAFDA put on a great C-Tier at Bell Park in Greenwood, AR...which was also hosting the local Fall Festival which must have brought in an extra 200 plus people into the park. With all those extra people, the tourney still went off smoothly. Nicely done.
I walked up to the top when the ring-of-fire was starting up and that 360 degree view up top was incredible.
