I spoke with Jeremys old boss that has always been a supporter of the Memorial. If his donation is the same increment as in the past we should have collected a total of $500 added cash for the open divisions. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Those were very kind words about Jeremy. I feel the same way. I know that Jeremy would want everyone who can to attend this party/tournament. For those wondering why it is not sanctioned it is because Jeremy loved lifting limitations of the PDGA to allow for some social, friendly, fun. A little 12 oz or two while dropping some 50 ft putts is always nice! "We will always remember"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had several peole over the years ask me what happened to Jeremy. He was coming back home to OKC from Tulsa and was involved in a one car wreck. His vehicle flipped over several times and was found facing back towards Tulsa after rolling several times and jumping the median wall. He was already gone when the police arrived. I was on the course waiting for him to play theat day when I received the call. One of if not the toughest day of my life! He will be missed!

MMMMM.... Brownies! Kyle is right this years players pack is going to be the best one yet. Jason Schwake did an outstanding job running the Wednesday minis at Dolese in OKC to raise $ for this event and his hard work is your good luck... if you attend.

TEAM TACO will be in the house hosting a BASKET throw off. 1 lucky winner will get a disccatcher traveler basket donated by Twisted Flyer & TEAM TACO. It's $2 a throw or 3 throws for $5. The closest three throws throughout the day will throw off just before the players meeting for the win. Proceeds go to supporting TEAM TACO's trip to SC to assist / caddy for Oklahoman's competeing in the USDGC.

Kyle will have a pile of sweet stuff from Josh Crowl to raffle of to assist him in his travels to SC to qualify as well so let's help these guys out. Kyle, Jason & I all feel strongly about supporting these guys so we are covering this events EDGE donation ourselves.

Brownies huh. Me and "Smuck" (Schwake) were rommies back in the day (late 90's when I was playing against Don Cook in Adv.) and I have loved the sweets ever since. But were talking not off the shelf clubs EXCLUSIVE tools! What did u expect. Twisted Flyer is on Jeremy's side!

always have been... J's side and the golfers side. Best advice I can give ya' is when someone asks you to a steak dinner...GO! Eventually this event will get to where we can serve a steak + 3 course in Jeremys honor (most of you know the steak story).

This event is about the memories of times with a cool cat on the course and beyond. It's about making new friends and seeing old ones. Its about spending time on the course whether your playing or giving back. Its about FUN.

I hope to see all of you out enjoying and supporting the entire program. The Davis fam on grill backed up by The Maxfields with sponsorship by D-MART?!!!? fUUHHHGGEETT abbbooutttt it!

So to sum it up... Great players packs, awesome food, added cash, ring of fire, extra holes, ace pot, cool raffles, exclusive gear and a chance at having the time of your life.

WHEW.
