Labor Day is upon us once again. And most of us are off work with nothing to do the entire day besides sleep. Who really wants to do that when they can get together have an enjoyable SKINS MATCH!!

I would like to get a skins event going for this Labor Day. I've always had a blast playing in these and think that this Monday would be a great day to have one. I am going to need some shown interest in this before this is able to get off the ground.

The plan is to have this at Hunter Park @ 2pm. We are doing this @ Hunter because Blackhawk is looking a little rough right now and so we can warm up for the Twisted Flyer Open. We are going to start sending groups off @ 2, so make sure you're there before that to sign up.

Groups:
Hot Dog - $20 skins
Hamburger - $40 skins
Steak - $60 skins

Let me know if you'd like to play. Like I said, I need to see some interest in this. My number is 918.899.7562 if you have any recommendations or ideas for this event.

if im off work, ill sign up for hamburger or steak whichever has more people in it.. hotdog isnt even really meat anyways

and hunter is good... lots of holes where OB can get you and you have to put that extra BOOM on it to get the birdie

Hunter is great for skins... Think about the holes you can win skins on...

Hole 1 (birdie win)
Hole 2 (birdie win OR par win possibly)
Hole 3 most likely a birdie push
Hole 4 (birdie win)
Hole 5 (birdie win)
Hole 6 (birdie win)
Hole 7 most likely a push, but could be won with a birdie
Hole 8 most likely a push, but could be won with a birdie
Hole 9 most likely a push, but could be won with a birdie
Hole 10 push
Hole 11 Push
Hole 12 (birdie win)
Hole 13 push
Hole 14 probably a par push
Hole 15 push
Hole 16 push
Hole 17 (birdie win)
Hole 18 (birdie win)

The way I see it, you have 8 GOOD chances to win skins, with possibly 3 or 4 others that could be won... plus you really never know whats going to happen in skins with the big money pressure putts!

There are a lot of holes that require an extra bit of accuracy + distance to get the birdie... and who knows, there is enough trouble at hunter with OB to make some pars chances at skins...

GOOD COURSE... COME PLAY SKINS PEOPLE! HOTDOG HAMBURGER OR STEAK... JUST AS LONG AS YOURE PLAYING

honestly, i bet what happens is all that show up will decide what division we play. if there are only 2 people wanting to play steak, we will probably just join up with the hot dogs or hamburgers if there are enough hamburgers...

You would think that Hunter would give up some skins but ask Wilkes, we have done it out there and believe it or not the first skin won was on hole 14. Now that was before some of the re-designed holes but you may end up being surprised.

since you are the veteran skins man, your opinion is definitely noted. However, I would say the moved pin placements change that park substantially. It is still possible to shoot a really low round, but the birdies are much more difficult to reach on a CONSISTENT basis, which is why I think there will be some skins traded there.

I agree with the old pin placements it would be a rough skins course, but the adjustments make it way better, I guess we will find out for sure in 4 days

TOMORROW!!! It is here. Labor Day Skins @ Hunter park!! Come see the course Jerry Stacey has made to look delish. This would be a great chance to get prepared gor the TFO.

I have been hearing a fair response to this event. I'm very excited to be able to get out there and hopefully forget about the horrible weekend that I had in Arkansas. On the other hand, my boy, C-Hat held it down and represented big time for t-town and Twisted Flyer!! Congrats Coda.

Make sure you get there on time. I would like to get started as close to on tme as possible. That's us getting started as close to 2 as we can.

Not sure about the $20 division but i the $40 division it was

Coda 10 skins - $192
Matt Steward 5 skins - $80
Wise 3 skins - $48
Dorries 1 skin - $16
Josh Crowel 1 skin - $16

I think in the $20 division
Wilkes won 9 skins for $72 and I know Thong Le won the first skin for $8 and I think Shipley and Hutchinson won the rest.
