Just an FYI - Benbrook is a dry park -
Benbrook is strict when it comes to alchohol and sanctioned PDGA tournaments restrict the booze!. So please keep the booze at home.
Thank you for your cooperation. There hasn't been any problems in the past and I wouldn't want to start now.
thank you

Course Looks Great Everyone. Thanks to whom ever put up the survey flags. These flags make navigating easier.
To whom ever ends up in the rough...look for something sweet! I'm gonna hide a prize or two in the rough. Might be hanging from a tree or in a bush. I can promise you this, you wont see it if you're in the fairway. haha

Ratings will go up when the new update happens. You need at least 6 people with atleast 10 ratings to get a proposed rating link. We only had 4 with 10 or more ratings and 2 that were new.
thanks to Jay for making the long haul to Benbrook. The computer says he shot -15 but the course is really a par 56. That means Jay shot an amazing -19 in two rounds. Way to go Jay. Ninja Proputt was close to Yeti with a -6 but couldn't keep up with the birdie master.
We had two newbees that showed. Britt's first PDGA tournament and Cardines to. Britt has only been playing for two months and has shown he can play the sport. He almost beat Cardines but lost control at the end. This was my first REC experience and I have to say it was fun teaching the REC players how to follow the rules. They were eager to learn everything I mentioned during our two rounds at Benbrook.
Benbrook is a really clean course with distinct fairways. I recommend taking a trip out there for a round or two. There are still some dollar bills in the rough so come and get um.
Proputt ended up finding one 5 dollar bill and one 1 dollar bill. Yeti found a camo chair proputt stashed away and one dollar bill. I think the casuals found about 7 dollars total. 1 5 dollar bill and a couple ones that I didn't see at the end of the day. I like the idea and will be doing that again at my next tournament.
I hope the Blue Skies Over Texas was a big turnout. I would of made it but I couldn't move Monday morning.
Thank you yeti and yetidiscs.com for donating merch for some games. (Get ya Some!) Thanks to Jeremy Mount for giving up a 10 time KC cheetah for the longest putt on hole #5.
Thanks to Leander for allowing us to have a sanctioned tournament at Benbrook.
Until Next time ------Keep it SUPER!
