Yes you can only play golf if you would like to do so. This was one of the reasons we shortened the event to only 2 rounds.

How about one round of Super Class out of the two like some of the other overall events this year? :)

Chuck,

You are more than welcome to play with any PDGA approved disc including superclass for a round if you would like.

We have decided to use some alternate teepads for the Pro and Advanced divisions for the event.

I have tried to add them to my map of the course.

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UTF8&hl=en&msa=0&msid=112155050822261674831.0004522bb3c83108ec173&ll=35.665359,-78.762585&spn=0.009675,0.022724&t=h&z=16

There are only 4 alternate teepads for the event. 17,18,2,8.

All of these have been flagged but it seems somebody keeps pulling them back up.

I am going to re-flag these tomorrow as well for anybody that would like to practice.

Let me know if you have any questions.

This Just in...

Teepads are being poured tomorrow!!!!!!

We will have paved surfaces for all teepads except hole 7 hole 1.

Hole 2 and Hole 17 alternate pads for the pro and advanced divisions will not have paved surfaces as well.

Mike, If we only play golf, can we just show up Sunday? That'll save me some petrol.

I thought about making a surprise appearance but the pre-reg only clause will prevent that

Mike, Nice job with the course guide at RDG. I think we need on site reg to complete some divisions.

I was told that you could sign up day of for golf only.

However, I'm a RADL member and not sure if that is a RADL clause or not.

Mike will need to confirm, but I can imagine those just wanting to play golf can sign up day of.

If you would like to play in the event please shoot me an email we are still accepting registrations for the event.

I just got home from the course and we now have 12 new teepads at Middle Creek.

Thanks to Tony Clark, Jay Pontier, Jason Maquerat, Kalon Self, Michael Toomes, and myself for coming out today to get this done.

We had ended up with some extra concrete and were able to pour 2 extra pads.

For this weekend EVERY tee will have a paved surface except for hole 1 which is moving once we finish the new fairway. Alternate 17 and 2 will also be natural pads.

Hole 8 has both a short and a long concrete pad.

Mike and all who did the work on the course. THANKS for all you have done! Such a great course and so much fun. I only participated in the disc golf, but it was such a good event and the people were all very freindly and supportive. This was my second PDGA event ever and my first win and I owe a lot of it to you guys responsible for a great course and a great event! Thanks again! Tino
