Already missing Tim Selinske, http://www.pdga.com/farewell-tim. It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that I'll never get another chance to spend time with him. I never found him to be other than friendly and gracious. My condolences to friends, colleagues, and family.

Yes - Tim was a wonderful ambassador for the game. He played a huge part in making the sport what it is today and carried the spirit of Frisbee with him throughout his work. Very sad to see him go, and hopeful that he has been relieved of his pain.

Go out and throw a Roc or Aviar for Tim today!!!!!

I'm trying not to cry right now as I have just heard of Tim's passing. My stomach still hurts.

Tim helped me out and I have always thought of him as my friend.

I would try to attend every event he was running as he help out so many folks always.

He was very outgoing and answered all of my questions asked.

Tim was and will always be a Cool Dude.

My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

I am so thankful that I got to talk very briefly to Tim at the KC Worlds. I have known him for over 25 years, and I will always remember his big smile.

Today brings a huge loss to the frisbee family. I will miss you greatly Tim. He always had a smile and a vision of doing things even better. He kept me sane when I was ready to crack. What a great guy! I am really really glad he got to play two holes at Worlds this year.

Our thoughts are with his wife and kids.

Everyone should throw some holes or play some catch today, and think of the good things and smile about a great life that blessed ours. I'm going to play Montiel with just an Aero. Maybe I'll throw an Aviar up the roof when I get home.

Tim on the left side of the innova website from around 10 years ago today... never had the chance to meet him but know he will be missed. The impact he made obviously will go on forever!

I knew Tim for over 30 years. He was one of my favorite people. He was also one of the best DDC players to come out of the L.A. area. Indeed, Fare The Well, My Brother.

Tim Selinske was such a smart guy. He was funny and nice and a joy to deal with. He was one of the most popular and beloved players in the game.

Because of physical resemblance, I get mistaken for Tim at least a few times a year. What an honor that is.

I had the pleasure of playing a round with Tim on the Oxbow II course during the 1996 PDGA World Championships in South Bend, IN. I still remember that round quite vividly......not because I got to meet and play with one of the Innova guys, but because Tim turned out to be one of the nicest persons I've ever met in the game.

A sad day for the sport all over the world. Tim was THE truly nice guy in the sport and it was an honour to have known you, been a friend to you and for you to be a mentor to my TD work. I always said to people all over the world if you ever wanted a fun round of disc golf make sure Tim was playing in your group. I will miss you Tim. A disc will go on the roof for you today.

I was very sad to hear of Tim's passing, his spirit will live on in all memories I have of playing with Tim in the 80's and 90's.

After I heard about it yesterday I tried to throw over the pond on Hole#1 at Maple Hill in his memory but came up just a little short.

Thoughts and prayers are with the Selinske family in this very difficult time.

A kind man, a smart man, a funny man. Excellent insights (of course, with his immense experience) in how to work with various constituencies to promote disc golf, get a course built, run tourneys. His warmth was infectious and was apt testimony to what we who enjoy this game must keep at the fore always: disc golf is a pleasure.

For those of us privileged to interact with him the pleasure was ours.

Friends and family gathered today from all over the country to honor and to celebrate Tim's life at a beautiful service at the Methodist church in Covina. There were songs and stories and laughter mixed with tears. The packed church gave testament to a life that was filled with joy and generosity. Looking at his picture I can hardly believe he is gone. Thanks Tim for all the laughter and warmth you brought into our lives.
