We have organized a work day for tomorrow. Please meet at McClure at 10:00 am.

The plans for McClure are to dig up a few old collars. This shouldn't take much time or effort. The new tee signs are not ready yet so Joel will replace those next week once he receives them.

Dovillio needs the following:

About 5 holes need the tee signs either straightened or placed back in the ground.

There is some light trimming around a few baskets and tee pads.

The quandrant around holes 15 through 18 we just need people to pick up sticks and throw them in a central pile in one of the bar diches.

I will have trash bags available so we can do a little litter removal as we see it.

The biggest issue at Dovillio is saving 15's tee pad. Jerry Stacey has a plan involving rebar and concrete that should fix it. He may have to help his Grandma move tommorow.

If he can't make it we plan on meeting Monday night to fix it.

Please try to come out for awhile. This shouldn't take too long and the work isn't very hard. The Admin board has been hearing for awhile that we need to focus more on our Tulsa courses. Here is your chance to do just that.

We will schedule another work day for next month and pick a couple of more courses.

If anyone wants to play an unofficial mini tomorrow we can get that going. I will bring scorecards, pencils and payout sheets.

See you at McClure at 10:00!!!!

good core group of volunteers.
a fair amount of work was accomplished.
mcclure has some changes especialy hole 15, it has been moved about 100 ft to the east.
this is to try and prevent any more broken windows.
dovillio is much more playable and 15's teepad has been shored up.
basket 14 at blackhawk has been welded again. i had no hand tools to rework the chain s hooks, if somebody can get by there and address those it would be helpful.
the blackhawk course looks beutiful right now however ther are some fallen trees that need attention.
the t sign for 10 on redhawk is replanted, and baskets 10 and 17 are welded.

thanks to the crew that showed up to help, you know who you are .

Thanks Brad, that's a lot of work just at the Hawks.

I want to thank:

Andrew Treat
Dave Wise
Joyle Deering
Joey Deering
Gary Nail
Douh Duff
BVA
Jim Taylor

We did get quite a bit done. We trimmed trees around Dovillio. Jim Taylor used a bunch of concrete, rebar and concrete pavers to shore up #15 at Dovillio. It looks great and I think it is fixed for a long time..

Wise and I trimmed around #13 at McClure, as BVA mentioned they moved #15.

So all in all a good day and we were done, except for Brad, around 1:00..

I plan on scheduling another work day for next month. I hope to see more people come out..

i just spoke to zooc, he said if the club trims trees then we have to haul the trimmings.
he said we can dump them at the green waste facility, it requires a tulsa address for free dump.
zooc said the parks dept. is at half staff right now and is not able to clear the piles.

Actually, Dovillio is under Public works, it is Boeing park down the road that is park. And all park maint. is really done by Public works, the parks is now just progams. Normally we could gt the stuff at McClure, but with such little notice you guys need to.(I will look and see if I can get it myself). know the Pecan at 13 grows fast and hangs low. Since McClure is so close to my past, I will see what I can do. (next time ask me for what you all might want out there) mulch, chat, trimming, whatever..
