I'm trying to keep the 21 in tact and keep from robbing A hole from the original 21. If I have to use A hole for the South, then the original will go to 18. Please get signed up we are 3 1/2 weeks out. Remember the only time the South Course will be set up is the Friday before the event for dubs. Added payout for AMS for dubs who get to pick there payout. There will be 3 divisions-Pro, Adv., Int. $30 pros, $20 adv and int.

South course is one I think alot of folks will enjoy. Lots of shots needed. Trying to get the pdga to update the calender for me. The entire event will be at OSP. You can sign up at discnation. C'mon Houston bring it to the Rock...we'd love to have you. I'll post up the players list early next week.

If your up early and lurking, the Double R Sunday mini is at the rock and it's singles. $400+ ace for current club members. Cut-off date to order my shirts is 2 weeks. So plenty of time to still sponsor this event. Form is at the top of this page.

I'll get one up soon. This tourney has traditionally had most sign up late, so not a lot to see yet. Just get signed up, there will be plenty of competition. I'll get a couple more pics up tonight also. The south course is unlike any other course in Austin or the surrounding area. It's got a great mix of holes and will challenge even the best of talent. Still needing some sponsorship for the event. If you can help at all please drop us a line. Cut-off for the shirts are Friday. Remember doubles will be on the South Course Friday before the event. The only time it will be set up before the event.

It's a natural thing in disc golf for td's to be very patient. Most are unaware of the work involved behind the desk. I'll have the list up tonight after the mini as well as a few more pics of the South course that we will be playing. Don't delay and get signed up.

Tough sell Carroll...it'll take a shabookie to make that happen. Got out and measured the south course today with Buttercup and it aint no punk at 7400'. Thanks BC for taking time out. I hope to have maps and OB's available this Wednesday at the mini for both the Rock and the South course. This Wed. is singles on the Rock so come out and get a look and a shot @ $500 if your a current member. South course will be set up for dubs at 2 on Friday. If you want an early look come out and help us pop the baskets in at noon. Meet at Hole 13. Still haven't heard from the Houston bunch but ADGA is coming in...good times. It's kind of ironic that hole 18 measures 666' over the OB pond. Trust me that wasn't planned. See you soon, get signed up at discnation before Wednesday.

Pond? I looked on the satellite view and didn't see a pond, but I did learn something very important: the road running through the park is called Harrell Parkway. wtf!!!!!!!
I mean, I know the pasture to the right on six is named "Seeware's meadow," but Harrell gets a road named after him? He is special. Very special.
edman
Sep 14 2009, 12:24 PM
You don't know what he had to do to get that road named after him...let's just say he burned through a set of kneepads. Dubs tees off till 5. The ob lake is the crickett field near 13's pavillion.

On line sign up ends tomorrow, so be a real sport and support our sponsor's. Discnation.com--Winter course is playing tough, a couple down will be good score from what I gather. This is a well planned course with the exception of a couple holes that we had to make do. I think everybody will enjoy the changes Outlaws is going through this year. I would appreciate everybody's input after the tourney. So Brad, what about your one time room mate? Is he playing this year? Where you at scoot? 2 more to add in open-Brad and Martin Rendon.

Thanks for the good times this past weekend and congrats to all the winners. What a great weekend of golf. With well over 80 players including 40 teams for dubs on Friday and 66 players for the tourney the Double R DGC was proud to host you. Thanks Steve-o for letting me and Lala play hooky on Friday, it set the weekend right for me at least. Good times. Thanks players for coming out and playing a demanding style of golf that Old Settler’s Park has to offer. The South Rock has definitely proved to be more than a temp course and hopefully we will see it again real soon when it get's HoTT in ROUND ROCKKKKK. My staff was off the hook and was glad to have such all stars.

Dear disc golf family. I was informed this morning that Jimbo Slusher passed away last night. If you're from Houston, attended PYMWYMI or any other event at the Snow Farm, you most likely knew Jimbo and his better half, Diane Killackey. He was always in a good mood, and all about a good time. He also loved to cook for people when he was at the Snow Farm, and was pretty darned good at it. He was one of the original Moffitt Rats, and will be sorely missed in the disc golf community. Please keep Jimbo and Diane in you prayers. If you play PYMWYMI this year, along with the traditional PYMWYMIIIIII yell, give an occasional one for JIMBOOOOOOOO!!!
Thanks,
The Colonel
