Wow! Thanks Mike! I think that pretty much summed everything up:)
Just in case anyone would like to see a more formal schedule I will post this:
Friday: Bring your partner doubles anytime from noon to 6ish
Saturday
8:30 player meeting
9:00 start (we won't know who plays what until Friday evening most likely)
11:30 Lunch: Ghenghis Grill will be out at the course and selling an awesome lunch for just $6. I talked them down from $8 and think that even though this is $1 more than the usual Don Q lunch it will be amazing!
1:30??? 2nd round
Sunday:
9:00 start 3rd round
11:30 lunch: Ghenghis Grill
1:30??? start 4th round
4:00 Ring of Fire hosted by Smitty, if no ace is hit it will be dished out in the ring of fire most likely.
4:30ish awards
10-15 minutes after the last card is turned in we should be ready to do the awards and payout. You won't find many tournaments that can get you out that quick!
Can't wait to get to Texas! We will be at the Park all day Friday so come on out, check in/get player pack, play doubles, and hang out.

I talked with Lamoreaux the other night and he had just got done busting his butt out at the course making it look good! This guy is awesome! If you don't know him personally make sure that you get to know him this weekend.
Registrations are coming in constantly! Get signed up in advance to help things get started on time and to save yourself a couple bucks! Think of signing up early as a free ace fund because that is what you get!

I'll put my +1 on that... and John I'll be your guide for the weekend. I was there last year, and have been waiting all year for this one again. Even though I stayed with Matt Hall last year, it was a great experience.

Sounds like another great disc golf weekend. Can't wait to play, I've heard nothing but great things about the courses and the way things are run.
The formal format description was nice, but MANDERSON's description sounds better.
Good rounds to everyone!

Obvious from the first day's competition, Cedar Hill is not a place where power prevails. Throwing long is beneficial, but you must have control. The wider array of shots you have in your bag...the better your score. If you haven't had the chance to see this mecca of disc golf, you should have it on your "must see" list. Thanks to Brian Lameraux for all the hard work.

This may seem late but.... THANK YOU!!!
I would have to say it was another great tourney and turnout for some great golf.
First throw out of Don O'Connell's hand and it hit a tree to get stuck between two other trees and TACO'D perfectly. Don may have had his strugles but it was fun playing a round with you Sir.
What can you say about Skeeter - Class Act! Even when I tried to get him rattled a bit, He would show why he won Masters. It was fun playing golf with a few new players I have not had a chance to before.
Thanks for coming down and showing as well allowing us to be aprt of your event. It is always #1.
Now for the UGLY - Who ever decided to steal from Dynamic Disc - You better be hiding. I hope Karma Kicks you right in the A&& 10 Fold.
Thanks again "DD"

Wow! What an awesome weekend! Texas is my favorite place to put on tournaments! Everyone who attends the tournament is respectful and excited that DD is in town! We really appreciate all the support and hope to keep coming back for a long time!
Thanks to all of those who made the event as smooth as ever!
-Lamoreaux: course preperation, maintenance, setting up headquarters, ICE & WATER, bouncer, for playing with the KS crew Friday morning, for hanging out all weekend on his birthday, and for just being a straight PIMP! TEXAS is lucky to have such a great guy for the sport! The entire DD crew can't even begin to thank this guy for what he has done in order for us to come to town and not worry about a thing except for running the tournament.
-Smitty: For making the trip! Most know how much fun this guy is to have at tournaments! He runs the best ROF in the country, has more fun after the tournaments rounds than he should but pays for it during the morning rounds. For filling up water jugs at six in the morning, setting up headquarters, moving baskets, and keeping me up on the way home while talking about what we can do on the next tournament to make it even better. Oh, and for pulling my big toe off to wake me up and chase after the punks in the Gator who rummaged though the merch!
-Kindy: The newest addition to the Team! This guy is amazing! Ask him to do anything and it's done right away. If he thinks we can do something better he speaks up right away and we make changes. This guy will probably be the one responsible for finding tournament sponsors that take DD tournaments to a level that no one has even imagined. What if we had $1000 added to each tournament beyond what is already added for the pro divisons right now? Free drinks, free beer, free food? Kindy wants to see this happen and I think we'll see some major sponsors jump on board in the near future.
-Dixon: Made his first tournament appearance in which he wasn't playing in! He drove from Houston just to win doubles with Miles:), help set up headquarters, and make sure everything was in check for the entire weekend! I wish he could have stayed for the entire weekend but we were lucky to have him for Friday and part of Saturday to help get the player meeting underway and scores figured during lunch.
-Don O'Connell-For getting doubles started on Friday while we were out throwing the courses! For all the graphics work at all hours of the night, for always showing up early to set things up and help out where needed and for helping out so much after each round to make sure that scores are plugged in and cards are shuffled.
-Miles Seaborn-For helping out from the start to finish of each Texas tournament. He has a lot to worry about with his game as far as being one of the top players in the country but is always willing to count scorecards, answer questions at the table, sell a Discraft disc or two, rush lunch in, and everything else that goes along with being behind the scenes!
-Scott, Levi, and Caleb Gillenwater: A father and two sons who have a passion for disc golf and helping out! These three helped tear down headquarters in Lewisville in May and got us on the road before 7 and did the same here but helped out all weekend! It is always difficult to allow a new person behind the table and in the RV who I haven't known for a good amount of time but Scott really fits in, takes charge of things that need done, and works his butt off to tear down headquarters in record time! We pulled out of the park at 7pm and this couldn't have happened without the help of him and his two sons. Tell Caleb to take it easy on the Gold Bond next time though! I'm pretty sure that Kindy cleaned up an entire bottle on the RV floor!
We were blessed to only have temperatures in the double digits instead of triple like last year! Good thing or else Lamoreaux, Smitty, and Jeremy Kindy might not have made it back from moving baskets Saturday night. They were getting pretty crazy! Unfortunately that night we had some people come through headquarters and take some merchandise while we were sleeping. We woke up when we finally heard them but it was too late as they were already on the move and headed for the car and a quick get-a-way. They were driving a white Chevy Cobalt so if everyone can keep an eye out for them that would be great. After going through everything we don't think they got much but its hard to say.
What did everyone think of giving out the ace money in the ring of fire? If everyone enjoyed, we plan on doing that for all tournaments as Smitty, the best ROF host of all time, said it was pretty awesome.
On the way home we always keep each other awake by talking about what we can do better on the next tournament. We liked the ace fund ring of fire but would like some feedback. We are also thinking about a different awards ceremony. Most of the time the pro scores are turned in before the MA2 and MA3 cards so we were thinking about getting all the pro scores figured and payout split and then immediately going in to the pro only awards ceremony while the other cards are waiting to come in and figured in to the payout. Basically we will do the pro awards and then head straight to Ring of Fire while the amateur payout is figured. When the amateur scores are plugged in to the computer and payout figured we would announce that you can continue to do ROF or get your merch payout. We are thinking that this might save 30 minutes and be a much more relaxed payout line but would also mean that no amateur announcements would be made unless we know the winner of each division during the pro awards. I'd like to hear a lot of feedback on this as I've never seen it done but think it has potential to get everyone out 30 minutes to 45 minutes quicker and hopefully a much more relax amateur prize out.
Thanks again to all those who made the Dynamic Discs Cedar Hill Open what it was! Hope to see everyone at the Dynamic Discs Lewisville Open PDGA B-Tier September 26-27. Registration and flyer will be up on www.DynamicDiscs.com shortly!

Speaking as a player who is always "on the road" whether it's in Oklahoma, Kansas or Texas, I always have to drive 2-6 hours to get home from a tournament, your idea is great Jeremy.
I'm sorry I didn't get to make that one. World's had me strapped for cash and I was a week late hitting a $100 ace at our mini (it was still nice to hit, just too late to get me to CH).
Congrats on another well-run tournament from everything I've heard. Players, here's yet another reason DD delivers well-organized fun. The TD wants your input. His entire team pitches in and usually with a big smile. And that TD plays when he can at other events, too. He hasn't lost touch with either side of the table.
Keep up the good work! Missed ya Smitty, looks like your game recovered a little in Texas. Congrats to Matt on the victory.

The photos and video are uploaded. Over 400 photos to sift through for the good ones and over 3 hours of video to edit down to a few minutes takes some time but I love every minute of it! I apologize in advance if a photo I took of you did not turn out and you and I was unable to include it in the photo gallery.
Thank you for all the support while I am out on the courses.

The video and pictures look great! Make sure to click the HD button so that you can view in HD if your computer can keep up! Great coverage of the tournament! Thanks for making it out and capturing footage from the tournament! We hope to have you at all events.
If you like a picture that was taken keep in mind that they are for purchase to help support all the time and effort that CDSB has put in to making this tournament coverage available.

The payout idea sounds like a good one and should make for easier payouts all the way around.
Kinter, rounds with you are always fun. Even if the Cedar Hill trees just wear me out. I'll get even with them some day.

How in the heck can a disc do after hitting the inside left side of the trunk in the far right edge of the first pic? Only at Cedar Hill and it all went down hill from there.
And the Happy Lammy just sit's back and laughs... :p Hey Lammy have I told you that a good chainsaw and about 3 hours and you'll have a great course out there? :D
Yea, yea I know it a tree sanctuary. Oh well I'll still be back for the next tournament as long as the creek don't rise. :)
