Shanka what?

Shankapotamus Doubles. That's right. This is going to be our first go at a PDGA doubles. It's going to be a fundraiser event to support the Sneeky Pete this year. It's also going to be Susan Tucker's first go as a TD. She's helped me run the last 2 PDGA events I ran and did a great job.

It's a pick your partner doubles. We will be playing Cedarock Yellow and Wellspring longs. We have room for 72 teams. We will have 100% payout in each division (minus park and PDGA fees of course). Hey girls, that means you too. Susan would love to have enough women's teams to have women's divisions.

So what are you waiting for? Don't just sit there. Start calling some people, putting together some strong teams, and signing up? A good toime will be had by all.

Information will be available soon at www.cedarockdiscgolf.com

OK let's get this back to the top of the list. Also I need to correct some poor wording in my first post. The 100% payout thing is slightly wrong. We will pay out 100% of entry fees (minus PDGA and park fees) to the required percentage of each division. Hope that makes sense.

This will also be the debut of the Rock N Roach express. Only time the previous Hooters Cup Champion, and the current Hooters Cup leader on the same team.

Not a problem. I don't think it will fill since we will be running 2 courses.

Looks like the Cupcake and a flower named Audi will be competing in a womens division. The Rock and Roach express will steam roll over Kenny Who, and Wyatt what like Crap through a Goose

Great tournament. Fun had by all. Moved at a smooth pace. Susan , you did a great job, and I think this was my first tnmt with a female TD, and you did great. Players meeting was informative, on point, and kept at pace. As tight as the competition was, I was surprised their was no playoff. Got to watch Wyatt throw a side arm in from 70ft, and Jerry's ACE,again. Had some great groups, and competition. Good job, include me in on Shanken II

Only one open team, Grant Hodges and John Shefield, shooting a 42 on Cedarock Yellow and 43 on Wellspring long.

Michael Webster and Casey Davis won Adv, shooting a 41 on Cedarock Yellow and a 42 on Wellspring long.

We're trying to figure out an easy way right now to get our spreadsheets to transfer everything to the PDGA. They don't seem to have a really good way to enter dubs in their system.

I would like to thank everyone that came out this weekend.

We had beautiful weather & an awesome group of golfers. I really had a great time running this--you guys make it a lot of fun!

We have already tossed around the idea of doing this again next year, but right now its time to change over to sneeky-pete mode. We'll keep you posted!

Rocky, MTL-Thanks for the kind words--it means a lot.

See you guys in 6 weeks!!
