On Monday August 21, 2017 the first lower 48 Total Eclipse of the Sun in 38 years will be occuring throughout the United States from the coast of Oregon to the coast of South Carolina. I know it's 8 years from now but after witnessing the last one in 1979 I thought I'd give the discgolf community a heads up about the next one. Do yourself a favor and don't miss the 2017 eclipse you will never regret it. With the eclipse happening on a Monday the weekend before would be ideal for having a tournament the weekend before. Maybe there could be a series of tournaments along the path of totality with a common fundraiser. Just an idea. Let me know if you have a course near the path of totality.

Do you know what cities would be along this path?

Less than 8 years of waiting and coast to coast in an hour and a half.
