as part of the Tulsa true growth project the public park at the top of the hill where the water tower is , is receiving 9 of our old baskets to build an entry leval or duece or die course.
Chris Hicks and I are headed up Thursday morning to meet the parks department at 8:30 with the baskets.
this will be a great addition to the town of Pawhuska, they have a manicured portion of the park that these baskets will be going and room to grow into a wooded area ,with a willingness to cut fairways for the future expansion to 18 with bulldozers .
The elementary school is purchasing 3 new baskets for their play ground.

9 baskets are in the ground.
my hat is off to the men from the pawhuska public works, public parks, and the trustees from the jail. these men came prepared with shovels gas powered auger and posthole diggers.
when those tools failed to penetrate the rock shelves one phone call and a compressor with a jackhammer was there in a matter of minutes.
also thanks to Chris hicks and Gary Nail for their time and efforts.
the only items left is the toe boards for the teeing areas and the tee signs.

this course is a small beginner friendly course that should provide an advanced challenge with putters and mid ranges. Pros could have fun working their short game.

Thanks Martin. It's always fun seeing another disc golf course go in. Thanks Brad for all your help. We also literally had a team of city workers and inmates out there helping us, which made it all happen fast. I'm looking forward to finishing the course and having a grand opening.
