Once again, we are heading out to Veterans Park in beautiful Arlington, TX in the dead of summer to throw some discs.
This year's event is scheduled as two one-day, C-Tier sanctioned events, with all Advanced and Recreational divisions on Saturday, July 18, and all Pro and Intermediate divisions on Sunday, July 19.
All players who are ratings-eligible may play both days in any divisions for which they qualify. Maximum of 90 players each day.
Registration is now open at www.titledisc.com
Entry fees (for current PDGA members, nonmembers add $10 to the prices below):
Open Men & Open Women: $52
Pro Masters, Grandmasters: $42
All Advanced Divisions: $32
All Intermediate and Recreational: $22
Optional $5 Ace Pot--ALL ACES FOR THE ENTIRE WEEKEND WILL SPLIT.
As far as the format goes, since we will be playing in the dog days of summer, I plan to take it easy on all of you. We will play one round from the short (Wednesday night) tees, and one round from the concrete tees.
Sign up early to help your TD!

If you are a local player, you may also register for this event in person with me before or after the mini on Sundays, or with the Wednesday night TD after the mini.

I am proud to announce that once again, Sports City Team Sport Outfitters has come through with a title sponsorship for this event!
Many thanks to Tom, the owner of Sports City, for his generous contributions to the ADGA's events. Please return the favor and visit his stores to show our appreciation.

This will be fun, since it's gonna be a one day of play tourny for me. I'm not the boy I used to be and two days and four rounds would be brutal in this heat. Looking forward to it even though I'll have to go against a former Adv. Master World Champion. (gEeser) I've already started working on his head though using my microscope.

Skip,
Take it easy in the heat.
I didn't think Geesa was playing tournaments anymore.
If he shows up, remind him that he promised me a t-shirt.

Ditto on both. Let's hope we can fill both days or close to it. I've got a load of plastic for this event (450 discs).

Don't you know it's only the best TDs that are willing to negotiate with Mother Nature to arrange for optimum conditions for his tourny. Well done, Greg. I hate to be greedy or unappreciative, but you think maybe you could get it to rain wine for the afternoon round on Sunday? Thanks

I would, but I didn't get an alcohol permit for this weekend.
