If you haven't played The Sarge, you are missing out. This place was made to test you in tournaments. Wow, trouble, spectacular holes, tight tunnels, it's great. Makes TT seem easy.

Makes TT seem easy? **** count me out...I already feel bad after playing Trophy Lakes back 9 today..........Sitting in hotel, farting around on laptop with Verizon WiFi, just noticed this posting, asked wife if she wants to go to Savannah in 2 weeks (she's trying to sleep by the way) and got a prompt "Can we talk about this later?"...Asked again and sd she didn't care. Think we might be coming down to PARTY CITY!!!!!! Nice hotel references please? I know nothing about Savannah except that drinking alcohol on the streets is legal.

Michael, ill save you two ROC's! As far as hotel recommendations, that can vary. The host hotel is the Holiday Inn in Pooler. If your wife wants to stay downtown then there are several that i could recommend based on your budget. Hotels downtown range in price significantly. Give me a call if you have questions about certain places you are interested in. ill PM you my number. See you in a few weeks!

Were I playing this weekend, I'd be telling the alligators to "move over---I'm jumping in".

Should be a great test of stamina and concentration, playing such courses in the forecast weather conditions.

It was hot. 100+ first round at the sarge. Blaine Kinkel dominated and won by like 15 strokes. AT and I tied for second, Peckham 4th, Ryan M 5th, Leigh then Jay. Kinkel even had his first tournament ace on #9 short at TT. It's only 350 feet or so. Leigh had his first tournament ace too on #15 short at TT.

Connor Thompson came back to win Advanced with 100+ rated round. Team Chuck did pretty good!

Kinkel had us all beat so bad the last round he shot a 46 and bogey'd his last 2 holes, ridiculous.

I must add that Peckham parked the Innovan in a spot downtown that was the sickest park job ever. 1 foot clearance on each side, and in like a glove.

Thanks Savannah for all the water and ice towels. Great job!
