Disc Golf is just a bonus here. Santa Maria BBQ is a happening feature for sure.

Just got done checking into Hotel possibilities for that weekend. It appears there
are other events going on that weekend and hotel availibility is limited, if not sold
out at the few i called. Dont know if there will be a host/discounted hotel but it
may be wise to check it out now if you are planning such.

P.S. Is there a players party this year? or Can i plan a dinner at JOCKOS on SAT.?

Saturday 7:30 p.m. Dinner reservations at Jockos in Nipomo

So.............................13 people signed up so far.
These are some nice courses to play here and the tournament is run real well.
I am hoping for a BBQ lunch from the locals like y'all did one year.
I mean come on now my division has all last names starting with letter 'H'...Hmmmm.
This year i plan on playing poorly with a great attitude, (new approach here.)

The 2009 Santa Maria Open was definitely one of my favorite events this year. Enjoyed both Waller and Preskier Park, wish we had two stellar parks like that in San Diego. Big Thanks for the Justins for putting on this event and making it happen, and letting us camp in their backyard! It must of been good charm, for our fellow San Diego Aces and good friend Mike Holmes finally got his first ACE! Happened at Waller Park, hole 4 during the final round. I got to witness from Hole 6 one of the most memorable ace celebrations, wtg Mike.
