I will be running this years Games of Texas Disc Golf Tournament at Bryan McClain Park on July 25, 2009. This is on a Saturday and will take the place of the Saturday Morning Mini with an additional 9 Holes being played from the short tees. Olympic style Gold, Silver and Bornze Medals will be awarded for the top three in each division. CASH PAYOUT for Advanced, Intermediate and Recreational Divisions. Junior Divisions will only receive medals and some other goodies. Top half of each dividion will be paid out. This is an Amateur ONLY Tournament! I will still run this like a Saturday Morning Mini and will allow Pros to play on that day but they will not be competing in the games. I am the TD but TAAF is the organization in charge. All we need to do is play it.

If PDGA Members Pre-Register, I can put them in their respective divisions according to the rating. I will also place "locals" that are not PDGA Members in a division I think they belong in but you know the "baggers" will still be there. This is a cash payout event and I am also trying to get prizes to give away to the players. Come out and play it.....I promise it will be fun.;)

Are we playing the front 9 or back 9 (or a combination) from the short tees in the 2nd round?

We will be playing the 2nd Round on the front nine (more shade).:)

Only 5 days away!!! I have been getting phone calls from lots of people that are saying they are playing. There will be a Porta Potty out there along with jugs full of ice water but please come to the park with your bottles filled. Last years Games had no payout at all just medals. I met with SA Sports this year and convinced them to have some of the money go back to payout. There will be some fees taken out for player Insurance (TAFF) and also for SA Sports.

Pros can also play on this day for $20.00 Entry Fee but will not be competing in the Games. Hope to see everyone there this weekend. We'll also have some discs to give away for CTP, Ring of Fire, Raffle (not sure yet).

I am also looking for 2 volunteers to help check cards and misc. easy stuff. If you are interested in helping me I have a FREE Breakfast and Lunch for you.;)
