Points of Interest for this weekend: I have ordered two dump trailers of sand that I hope will be delivered before this weekend so I will have a chance to work it before saturday.
We will use this sand to create a sand beach and water volleyball area near hole 17. I was swimming around in different areas of the lake today and this seemed like the best place to build a sandy beach and swimming hole. It also will serve as a launch area for those who want to venture farther out to search for lost discs. The water was perfect today. So, if you are planning on coming up this saturday, we will have charbroiled burgers and some kind of wraps Deb is cooking up, and hopefully a sandy beach for swimming. And, as always, overniters are not just welcome but encouraged. This weekend will also be the big annual Ben Johnson Memorial Steer Roping Sunday afternoon. Festivities all weekend. Friday night is a big outdoor dance at the fairgrounds. Should be a fun weekend and I talked to Brad earlier today and I understand he plans to initiate the Pawhuska course this weekend with round 1. See you this weekend.

Jim, Deb, and Leah

PS,
Thanks for your prayers and concerns for Leah these past two weeks, that was too close for comfort.

shot better on the island course than I did on the Reed Like 9 hole course. That tells you how may day went. But I had fun, also lost a Yellow CE Eagle on hole 2 at the lodge if anyone can find it.
