Not I,my son has soccer again. Even if he didn't I would go to Miami for the sole fact of a 1 day over a two day tournament. With all of the events we have had for the last 6 weeks, it gets hard to be gone every weekend from Friday to Sunday night.

I've always had a blast at the Pro/Am, no complaints here, I'm just becoming a fan of one day tournaments every so often, so its easier to get out of the house.

While there have been many good events pop up in the last few years around Oklahoma, The Pro/Am should be a staple in every disc golf diet!!! :)

It would be had it not been for Chandler Stock, working the Am event at the Lodge, the NT at the Lodge......thats three 2 day weekends in the last month for me, with a wife and kids, just a little too much. I hope as many from Tulsa that can go over do just that. NE Lions is always an arse kicker, if you're not carefull.

Digger always has the course looking great and I've never gone away hungry, they always treat you right.:D

Mostly its just the fact that I can tell the wife I won't be gone all weekend and I'll be home Saturday night. Just sounds better than, I'm going to be gone all weekend, again.:cool:

Maybee our state coordinator can chime in on this. I'd say ask King, but I don't think he owns a computer yet.

the pdga has recieved the sanctioning funds, along with diggers membership dues in one check. the pdga apparently doesnt have the capacity to ballence the books when funds are sent in that manner, the event is a sanctioned event period. the wheels of polotics turns slow,i dont understand why tey wouldn't be able to manage the funds in the manner recieved but it is my uderstanding that things are coverered as the pdga requiers and the schedule has not been updated yet

It is a sanctioned B Tier event. It is also one of the 7 qualifying events for the OKIE State USDGC Spot. Digger did everything required, correctly it seems. I know the folks in the office do their best to make sure this does not happen.

I received an email this morning in regards to this event not being on the PDGA Tour Schedule. The email also requested that I post to DISCussion board as the ones involved with this event do not currently have Internet access. I am posting via the DISCussion board this time only as it is a tool for members to discuss disc golf related topics and not an official communication method with the PDGA.

The PDGA office has not yet received a sanctioning agreement for this event. The address/location to submit membership renewals and sanctioning agreements are not one in the same. Each document indicates where that particular form should be submitted. However, I have sent communication to location where the membership renewal was sent, to inquire if the sanctioning fee was also included with this check. I have not heard back as of yet.

This event can still be added to the PDGA Tour Schedule as a B Tier event as long as a completed sanctioning agreement is submitted to tourmgr@pdga.com AND kgarlock@pdga.com before 5pm EST today, May 22, 2009.
