Basically our Ash Minis are where we go out and design a layout in a park that doesn't have a DG course. Then we'll set a date, take temporaries out, and play the design. We do these every couple of months in parks all over San Angelo.
This weekend's Ash Mini is a "Monster Ash Mini", we have come up with 3 different 18 hole designs and are going to play them all in one day. Normally these range in holes from 9-14, and we play it twice, but we are going big this weekend. We are also playing with the format this weekend: Normally it's random doubles, this time it's random doubles, but we are reflipping for partners at the half way point. That way if a "super team" is formed they can't just run away with it all day. So at the switch you'll take your score and add it to your new partners score and that is your individual score of the day. We'll pay it out like singles, but play it like doubles. Sounds interesting doesn't it?
If you are in the area and want to throw a lot of discs, South Concho Park is your ticket.
Cost for this one is $10, but that includes 2 brats for lunch and 54 holes of disc golf.
If you need any more info on this, just shoot me a PM or an email.
