the news around here said flood stage was 17 ft, so somebody's got it wrong. don't know who. like i said, i talked to someone who still lives there over the weekend and they said that the water was barely on the course at all, and i think that's all that matters. if it goes back up, i'll pay more attention. maybe its cutting off roads, i dont know. but the park seems to be doing alright.

Flood stage is still risingI am sure it will go down by the 23rd if the rain stops or at least subsides a littlein fact the flood warning forecast from this morning (see below) says the river is falling, even though the flood stage is risingsee numbers above and previous posts
I am posting these flood warnings NOT to drive people away. I am posting these so that all those that are considering going to this tourney (me included) are in the knowand its fun for me since I have nothingabsolutely NOTHING better to do.

Although, If you read the entire flood warning statement from this morning it does say that the river is falling...so either pick the flood stage numbers that are indicating a rise or the verbiage of the flood warning statement where they state the river is falling...or flip a coin...

No Way!! We just had our 26th Arkansas State Disc Golf Championship the same week-end as Oklahoma's at Burns Park in North Little Rock (Home of the 2008 & 2009 Southern National Pro Championship)
I figured that we had it easy with no Okies there and then Clayton Nash has to come in from Mississippi to win Open, and the Ace Pot, and the Raffled off showcase Doubles

Look at it this way, you know that this one is on the books as a "C" tier.
Norman may or may not make it even though you know it will be big time from the ammount of fees they are charging I guess you just have to pick your spot points at a "C" tier price or payouts at a "B" tier price and maybe no points.
