Well the courses are shaping up quite nicely around Des Moines thanks to our very generous volunteers and staff.

This years event features top notch players packs far all competitors. The Pro Pack includes the above SuperColor tournament disc - featuring the 2008 First Class Challenge Champions Angela Tschiggfrie and Avery Jenkins, and a stylish shirt that features the below logo, as well as some other swag and goodies. The AM player pack is the same as the Pro's with some very nice extras thrown in.

The added cash is shaping up nicely thanks to our generous sponsors. Totals will be available towards the end of the month you wont be disappointed.

Sign-up is available online at www.desmoineschallenge.org via online payment or mail in form.
I will be at the Minnesota Majestic in next weekend and will be able to take registrations at the event.

See you all at the Challenge!!!!

The courses are ready to go. So am I.

Barsby showed up and sniped the local C-tier :) Peeps should be rolling in from Ohio and beyond the next couple of days. I'm excited to see some old friends on my home courses.

Like I said before, the courses have taken shape and are looking fantastic. There are many who contributed to this effort, but Tyler Sarg has taken the job of Course Manager to a new level. His dedication has been evident locally, and next week the National Tour will see what Des Moines Disc Golf is all about.

So if you play The Challenge and see or meet Tyler, tell him thanks. It can't be said enough.

I'm at Applebees using their free Wi-fi and hope to get some photos uploaded between rounds. A few cards came in before I headed to Applebees with Tanner Duncan in at 55, Cale at 56, Climo at 57 at Ewing. Scoring guys appear to be ready to go and top of things so hopefully you'll see scores in a timely manner for this event. We're hoping to roll with live scoring tomorrow, possibly with the Open women one round and the Open men another round. This afternoon is Pickard teeing off around 2pm Central. This 3-cheese Chicken Penne is great...

Quick update: Matt Orum has the hot hand at Ewing with a 53. Feldberg, Blazek, Ulibarri, Hemmeline and one other in with 54s. Sounds like full Pool A scores will be at least a half hour more so TD can get over to Pickard and call them all in.

This tournament lived up to it's name. Great job guys! I loved every minute of it and wish it could be a yearly event for me.

Is that a Dave Feldberg NT repeat? The first one all year for any of the Pro's.

Not a bad month, he made $1700.00 at The Brent Hambrick and follows it up this week with I am guessing at least another $1700.00

This feels very similar to last year before Worlds, Dave playing solid golf right before the worlds event. This year instead of 2 second place finishes he grabs two first place finishes.

Nice work Tanner!

Thanks man. It was a wild ride and a dream come true.

I can't thank everyone enough who put in countless hours to afford me the opportunity to play a NT in my back yard. Playing with Cale and EMac all weekend, on the best courses, in great weather....it just doesn't get any better.
