� in your Field Events , there will be MANY Champions � they are grouped by DIVISION for their competition � by that I mean there are only 4 Divisions ( in Field Events) as follows :
PRO MEN ; PRO WOMEN ; AMATEUR MEN ; AMATEUR WOMEN
� this represents a principle that I believe in and have promoted for a long time � after all ; Women and Girls are not �second-class non-counting citizens� � they are Equals , and I�ve always felt that they would be more �involved� by entering and trying-out different Events if they are supplied the platform to do so � in that regard ; Distance , MTA , Freestyle , and DDC will produce potentially 28 Champions (2 events have partners) � also , those Results produce �Overall State points� throughout those 4-Divisions (sliding scale from 10-points down to 1-point) �

� and then your Disc-Golf Competition further separates into several SUB-DIVISIONS based on Skill , Ratings , Age � according to PDGA competition � you know the routine : Pro , Advanced , Amateur , Novice , Junior , etc. � within each Sub-Division , those players compete among themselves for the Disc-Golf-payout of their group ( cash -or- prizes ) � 2 rounds played over Championship-caliber courses , and six extra �bonus� holes � a real tester � however , the �Overall State points� produced thru disc-golf Results are once-again determined by the �main� Division total-scores ( PRO MEN , PRO WOMEN , AM. MEN , AM. WOMEN ) �

... accepting the gold-parchment-envelopes at the Awards were the two newest MA1 qualifiers into the 2009 USADGC ... this Tournament (formerly AmNationals) has grown in size-and-stature ... the ONLY tournament competition held on the Tobaggan Course in Michigan ... every Round is scheduled-tee-times , AND : their Players-Package sounds superior ...

Another great run tournament by Wayne and his Indy staff. Thanks to the Taylors hosting another event for us, it was beautiful weather on Saturday. Congrats to the winners and to John for a nice ace on his birthday!

... here's a recent "heads-up" for you Players and fans ... this Fall , there will be Music in them thar hills ... a 'Band Festival' will be held there in conjunction with a 'Rally' and 'Swap Meet' ... 3 or 4 Bands ... probably performing outdoors ... Camping and Food and Partying will obviously abound ...
... now , dig this : we could have this 'great gathering' right along with ours ... our Flying Disc competitions could "merge well" with other outdoor-enthusiasts enjoying the early Fall weather ... whole new groups of people who were at The Lodge for the other activities could get some exposure to our Sport(s) as well ... possibly Disc-Golf ... M.T.A. ... D.D.C. ... etc. , in non-sanctioned formats ... some different crowds might get their "first-look" at these Recreations that we-Players enjoy , follow , and endorse ...

IF this is how we were to set this gig up , I know that us Tournament Players (Disc-Golfers) would have a 'discounted' set-up ... just pondering numbers here , but if the Entry into the Weekend Festival and Rally were $20 or $15 for the other public to get in ; (I think that includes them to Camp out also) ; us Disc-Golfers would get in for like $10 or $8 ... other discounted deals might be set-up as well ...
