hey Rusco,
I signed up last week and it was $52.50 for me. I put 'YES' for ace pool, and 'Yes' for PDGA member and it should be 42.50 for INT men right? not sure what I did or am missing but It comes out to $47.50 today. did I do something wrong?

I think $45 is the PDGA Current price, so +$5 for ace makes it $50, then the online fee of $2.50, and that makes $52.50

Cedar Hill will be in August!
Got some more registrations in over the weekend and will have the updated list up shortly. Some people have heard that the event is full!!! Help spread the word that it is time to get signed up before it gets full; not that it is full.

Thanks....actually, I overlooked that information on the registration page. That's an all-too-common occurrence since I hit fifty.

Nice note Adam... perhaps they will get it dialed in online soon. Thanks to the LVille crew for hooking it up! A great day of fun... glad I didn't get stuck on the bottom of a rec. card for the final round! It was nice to return to the house that OldMan built, where I was trained by Texas Aussie OG REAL TD... CHRIS HIMING... I'm sure most of you know him! It was nice to see the progress and growth of Disc Golf down there! Thanks to my girl Danielle for embracing all that is TWISTED and being the cutest Pro chick in the park!
It was great to see ALL my old friends there. I can't wait to get back to the area very soon! Keep it Twisted Long and in the Fairway!

Another awesome weekend in Texas! Thanks to all 141 players who showed up to the tournament to play! We couldn't have asked for better weather! The early start and less than full field allowed for both rounds to be played quickly. Thanks to the extra help during lunch from Joe Sofinowski and Jeff (can't think of his last name) we got the cards shuffled, results uploaded to the PDGA in no time at all, and players off to play the second round just after 1:00.
Once the cards were turned in after the second round we had results up online, payout figured, and the awards ceremony underway in record time! Everyone at the tournament was done with amateur prize out just before 6 and the DD RV rolled out of the park at 6:45 thanks to all the help tearing down headquarters from the entire DD crew, Scott Gillenwater and his sons! I felt like it was the smoothest DD event to date and hopefully everyone who played felt the same way.
The funny thing about this DD Texas tournament was that the normal crew of players and help were not on board! I was a little nervous going in to the weekend that we might have a few minor issues but everything was smooth sailing! The only two, besides myself, to ride down in the RV were Ron Klein-Mo and Jeremy Kindy who had never made the trip down south in the RV. These two fit in and helped out more than I could have ever hoped or imagined! They worked their butts off all weekend and never complained once, or at least until we were on the way home with how sore and tired they were. These two really deserve a huge thanks along with the rest of the crew of Dixon Jowers, Miles Seaborn, Don O'Connell, Eric McCabe, and Liz Lopez who all helped out to make sure everything went as planned. Without their help there would not be another DD tournament in Texas!
As always we are looking for constructive criticism on how the next DD tournament can be better so please PM me with any ideas or suggestions. Or send me an email
[email protected]
I would also like to thank the two major sponsors of the tournament which were "Old Man" Tom McCutcheon and Lloyd Sitkoff with Try Tone Records. Without their generous contributions to the tournament we could not have posted such a great payout or handed out so many free things in the CTP or Ring of Fire.
Look forward to seeing everyone again at Cedar Hill which will be August 15-16! Registration and tournament information will be posted shortly so stay tuned!
